Something I would suggest that I purchased was the lone wolf replacement stabilizing straps. Makes your top half rock solid, there’s been times where I’ve had to lean over the side of my stand to take shots at deer and it didn’t move an inch. They also help to pack down my climber nice and tight and use em to strap my bag down.
Great ideas guys. I have a Summit Viper. I like the XOP Treestand Transport System on mine. I like the bow holder and wrapping the cables around each other. 👍
Fun fact. Even thpugh they are rated for 350lbs. Thats industry standards. They were tested at 700lbs in factory and for insurance sake they rate them for 1/2 the poudage of what they held. And thats where we grt the 350lbs rste limit. So just incase you are sceptical being on the bigger side, there is still plenty more that stand can handle. I got curious and did some research and even calling summit asking first hand. Hope this helps
Good vid gents. Some things too add. If yall really want to improve the stands get the summit package from thirdhand archery and the summit net seat and backpad from hazmore. Get the summit side bar and front bar bags. Lose the summit bar pass and the paracord and cover the stand in stealthtrips.
The way you do the goliath the metal hits your back the whole time my back was bruised after opening weekend do it the other way so you can use seat cushion on your back.
Didn`t get your names but the Big guy the paracord strap idea sounds good but not to keen on the snap on the bottom platform when you moved you strap you could here it clinging on the foot platform . But I like the idea of wrapping the rails with paracord that was a lot of cord . But I like ya`ll idea .
