Thanks for the video, I’ve had my Goliath since 2006 I believe. Back then summit had the foam dampening as a promotion and I got me one. I think mines just as quiet as the newer ones.on the market. But great video. Thank you.
How in the world do you get your seat to pass over the bottom rail by the teeth so easily?! I’ve tried loosening it and nothing works except unclipping the forward most seat strap. Any tips?
@@paparomesoutdoors711 you also. Just hear me when I say -safety harness. I’ve met many hunters @ work Like this & I seen some never walk again. I wish you all the best luck too papa 👍👍 let’s fill the freezer !
Nah I just keep my cross bow or bow right across the main rail and that works well for me I’m able to hold the butt pad near my shoulder so my movement is minimal
Go-to third hand archery they have the best crossbow holder that will not fall off if bump it and you can climb up in the tree with the crossbow attached instead leaving it on the ground
I just bought one today....one question....after I bought it my neighbor told me they tend to slip....when on tree ...have you had any problem s....thanks...from Missouri
stag3t-m uspsa Great question if they are experiencing slipping it’s either one of two things or both, first could be the bark of the tree could be hard and smooth unable to grab properly to the teeth like a beechnut, maple you want softer bark like ash oak and cedar, two the cables may not be set to the proper length for the diameter tree. I find when the cables are tightened too much the stand makes noise climbing because it can’t clear from the tree and also when locking in position it does not have the proper angle to drop in place and hold properly allowing it to set correctly, without seeing in person what they are doing it’s hard to say but these are a few things that I have learned over the last 18 years with my summits. Be safe and thanks for watching
Yep, many deer taken from it already, here are a few, but check out my hunting Playlist where it will cycle through them. jim jordan my pleasure to do it, summit does not show how to do it so I’m just showing what I do and I carry this thing for over 100 miles a season moving it all over and it feels good to me. The last load I had so much weight the straps left blood marks on my shoulders but other than that you can easily hold 50 lbs on here all together and it’s comfortable
it does and much more, you can watch my unboxing video with a comparison from my old summit to the new one and differences as well at this link here. ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-OEPk64nJ0Z8.html Thank you for watching.
The only thing that's clicks on this is the tabs that are metal on metal where the tree cable goes theu it you hit it or tap it on tree going up it makes a clink sound everytime but if your carefull and go slow it wont
well i guess you wouldnt understand. I solo film, solo hunt public land, deep in big woods where I have no atv access or truck access so im forced to carry it in if i wanna film it. that being said I cant leave it because of theft so i must carry it out each day other than my stand. thanks for watching
@@paparomesoutdoors711 yeah I actually would understand I hunt public myself. Don’t carry near as much. Stand camera arm and camera in a small pack. The buck in my pic came off public ground.
