Fantastic job! I've been documenting western toads in the Cariboo (Interlakes area) since 2012. They're such great little creatures. I'm glad there are others who care about them too! Props to those who spend so much time helping the little toadlets cross the highway on their migration to the forest.
☑️ {7:08} That's super cool of those people to help out some of the little baby toadsters like that! At the very beginning, there was a quote that said "toads are ugly and poisonous". Some are poisonous, but they aren't ugly.
This was amazing footage. I'm currently working on documenting western toads and tads, and I wanted to know what equipment you mostly use? And what type of camera are you using? The underwater shots are amazing. I'd appreciate your feedback!!
The footage is rly cool but are you completely out of your minds? You have no business standing in the road impeding traffic just to save a few frogs crossing the road, or for any other reason either. It's just not lawful or safe for you or others on the roadway. Sorry but no one has a right to block traffic especially for leisure type things you do as a hobby. likely the cops would have to come ask you stay out of the way of traffic so you don't endanger yourself and others. the footage and scenery is some of the best I've ever seen and I'm not trying be a jerk about it but I it wouldn't make sense to get yourself hit by a car to save a frog 🐸 and they are really cute lol. Personally I would think that's like standing at the base of a mountain picking up pebbles while trying to move the entire mountain.. it just doesn't make much sense
