Good video, I would add some stabilizer straps by third hand archery. The just make the stand more solid and a peice of mind when your up there, also the bow holder is mint too.
Thank you! Already added the bow holder and the pack. I will definitely look into the stabilizer straps. Do they help keep it from rocking side to side?
@@GrantSmith_Bowreaper yes they do once you get to your desired height, all you have to do is sinch the straps and they are rock solid. And for the safety aspect when you are on your way up and if the bottom platform drops, you have 2 straps to pull it up instead of the one that it comes with.
Many years ago I had a climbing tree stand that did not have an attachment to the climber / seat portion. the standing platform gave away and fell to the bottom of the tree. Luckily I had the then version of a fall safety harness - the waist belt and the tree security strap with tether. I was left hanging from the security strap with only the climber portion of the tree stand at my level. I was young enough at that time and able to reverse myself to face the tree, hug the tree, shimmy up a little bit to relieve tension on the strap around the tree and lower the strap and tether to chest level and then repeat the process until I got to the bottom of the tree. I look back on that incident and think God must have been with me. (Had to go back and edit my reply because I have noticed all the Google voice recognitions! Google sucks)
