Word on the street is that repair kits have become tier 2 weapons

The main thing that bothers me, is they shot Hutch first (whom is locked in an animation, repairing a car) instead of shooting the 2 guys actively assaulting Dean.

The entire server needs to have a "Protest" outside the police station. edit: props to Dean and whoever the two who said that on the radio should be put on leave.

Dean could also clarify a little bit more over the radio that the guys bumped the truck on top of a guy and it killed him and the guy who did the 13A instead of 13 b is a little bit excessive if they bump the truck into them

The cops on the radio that are like "fuck it, shoot him" are the full time cop main character type. Even a cadet with some crim experience has better judgement in that situation than the full time cops.

Dean seems like a decent dude. He knew it wasn't right so questioned it. The other cadet was stoked to get his gun off haha

The worse part is that the cops don't even get punished, OOC or IC, so they keep doing it. Shift 3 is a shit show and it's not even the new cadets it's the old cops that blatantly do it. Anything for the W these days.

Seeing Dean's POV, I think he could've articulated it better. He said the guy rammed a cop when the other guy is saying it was his bubble so the other cops probably thought it was intentional. He should've called for backup and said they're repairing the vehicle and he's being tackled.

The people on the radio, when Dean was asking for confirmation, sound like the same people Croc had to deal with in the negotiation breaking situation. Is this Shift 3?

they shouldnt get banned but they should actually get repercussions for their actions, literally nothing happens

1:45 I think thats the biggest problem with cops on this server. They don't ever actually try to de escalate the situation. Something happens and they increase pressure instead which just escalates thing and then we have an ambush on our hands because cops gave crims no other choices lol

if they want to talk realism lets talk about the forced administrative leave after an officer involved shooting. make them take a week off their cop character after shooting anyone and then watch the (basically rdm) completely stop

It gets annoying when streamers start apologizing for their takes because they calmed down a bit and just don't want to get in trouble. Summit was still totally right on all of it, despite how a cadet might not really deserve as much blame as the ones on the radio that are simply fed up and in NVL mode so they don't even bother to ask if the criminals are currently an active threat.

The way the convo went on the radio I think it sounded like hutch just ran a cop over. It's insane that life is more valued in a video game than real life though.

people being pissed cos he was shot repairing a car and could not defend while in an annimation... so its ok when crims.. ie Dundee rolls up to a cop refueling in an animation when he cant defend himself eithier n screams something at him then shoots him down with no possible way for the cop to defend himself.. this works both ways. both cops and crims do this but they dont acknoledge it and just shout n bitch straight away when it happens to eithier side but it nvr gets resolved cos neithier side will make a *ooc* agreement not to shoot people in animations ..however i think this scenario is slightly differant... it was a mixed bag of lack of experiance and communication which then led the cops on the radio missunderstanding entire scenario that made it quickly escalte as well as desync that caused the intial cop going down.

He hit a cop with a car, yea, but that was 2 fucking minutes ago. As a cop you have to use what's happening in the moment when you decide what use of force you want to use. You are only protected by qualified immunity when you are making a split second decision during the MOMENT something is happening, not 30-60 seconds after. If he shot him right after he was hit by the car then that would be justifiable given the totality of the circumstance happening at that moment IMO. This cop would be fucked IRL and in GTA this guy should be fired.

everyone ignoring the fact that it happened and you cant decide to shoot way after the fact, you cant shoot in retaliation as a officer, like what no police department anywhere allows that in their policies....Im also pretty sure an officer senior or not isnt allowed to give orders to kill over the radio without being on scene

I hate watching summit walk back on his words because he starts to worry about making other people mad in the community, whether it be players or the devs. Out of all the streamers I watch he consistently has the most level-headed takes on almost all situations. Thing is, in real life, a cops life is valued extremely high. If you put a police officers life in danger or make a poor decision that results in the death of a police officer then just say sorry and continue to try to repair the car you’ve just escalated the situation. In my opinion if you take a life and you don’t surrender after a warning you will be shot. I personally would have gone full ape shit RP for taking a brother (officer) in such a shitty way and warned them all to put there hands up and stop repairing the car before ordering to fire.

This is the reason I dislike summit. He has a great take "Stop shooting criminals that are causing no threat" Then he recants, he gets just a tiny bit of resistance and pulls his opinion back. The server is never going to change because he is refusing to talk about it.

Maybe if criminals valued their life instead of thinking its sensible to tackle and assault cops back. Or stand and try to repair a car when their are cops on site . A lot of this complaining from the criminals seems to be because they are not getting things to go the way they want. And yes the cop that opened fire was completely in the wrong.

In a real life situation lol 😂 ok a criminal wouldn't try and fix his car infront of the cops like that and complain it stops when he's been tackled or that it takes 30 seconds 😂 it would take a full day realistically... everybody just cries on this game wanting everything to go their way..... every criminal should give up after getting tasered once (realistically) not just get up In front of 7 cops around them and run away it's dumb af....
