Summit1g Reacts to Shotz PERMANENTLY BANNED on NoPixel 

Correct me if I’m wrong, they did a road block that has been done 1000 times on NP. Organized by Kebun who has never been banned. But it’s supposed to be an obvious rule break of NVL. Koil said it’s a “common sense” rule break. People who have been playing on the server for 6 years had no idea they were breaking a rule. Cops have pitted at 150 and rammed through buses at 150, no ban, nothing.

I love how he was perfectly chill at first then he slowly began realizing how bullshit it is and walked himself into being pissed off hahaha. Love summit ❤✊

Good to see Summit still defending Shotz after all these years. I know Shotz appreciates it because he literally credits Summit for saving his life by joining NoPixel and promoting his stream.

The issue is they are banning specific people that yes are guilty, but everyone else in the server is guilty too then. They are cherry picking people they want off the server.

The old ways of nopixel are dead. Imagine getting rid of some of your OG people who made NP what it is.

I used to be a staff member with NoPixel back in the Arma 3 days. It's all about money and holding peoples train tickets over their heads. I have no respect for Koil and how he runs that server, its shameful.

As someone who has been in various games server community's ark, and dayz primarily, but also gta rp. I can say this is easily a way of the admins asserting dominance. There is always at least 1 guy (most of the time more) who want to show that the server has all the power over the community and basically hold bans over the heads of members in the community. It's always a game of politics in the sense of having to make good connections with server staff. The craziest thing here is it is so obvious they want to hold stuff over players heads because these points don't disappear. It would be different if points were to go away after x amount of time, but they stay forever. So, a player who has played for years with 25+ points don't get any sort of leverage even though he has played for years and more importantly every day for 8+ hours a day most of the time. Meaning he is bound to have way more points than a casual player. Seems to be pretty obvious they want to remove certain players from the community, or the admin team has absolutely 0 logic when it comes to these bans. Meanwhile I have seen clips of cops who are the main ones always reporting and crying about NVLs being the ones who NVL the most out of anyone to "win a chase" when the point of rp isn't even about who wins and losses in chases/crim activity. Seems to be so distorted to one side nowadays to where basically cops and server staff are on one side and crims are on the other from my experience in multiple different rp servers.

What confusing is the nvl pit applies to the crim and not the cop. Sop say pit is now authorized for speed of 120 mph. So why does crim have to value cop life and not nvl pit while cops can....like just 2 weeks ago, buddha got pit into a wall and sent lauching at the pier

No Pixel seems to have the same problem of twitch. All it takes is one person in staff not liking you and your content and will search for a way to permaban you. Be it from a million little things, to taking something out of context. So many are banned on twitch over a five second clip where if they watch for like a minute things would be clarified.

It only took about 4 minutes for summit to reach the peak of the argument and assert dominance

I could see NP pushing CG out of the server. They've been trying for years to do that.

Ive played on a few RP servers, including the orange no pixel. All i ever asked on these servers, is have in their discord a spot to ask admins if this scenario is ok or not aloud. We spraypainted out the cameras and covered the windows of a store to hide ourselves inside, and the cops ignored it all and arrested us and said we came close to a ban for but it was no where in their rules!!!

Things like points shouldn't be permanently cumulative. They need to have a time limit. Even real laws have a time limit as to when they are able to be used against a current action. Like even 3 months and they drop off to make it more so as lots of little mistakes aren't likely to cause a perma but a few big dumb mistakes in a short time will make em get perma'd.

I'm glad summit understands what most seem incapable to realize... I lost a job once to "point accumulation"... I was a temp expected to be hired on after 8 months, but was there for almost 2 years without being hired on and eventually... more time is going to lead to more incidents (calling out, sched time off, etc).... it's an inevitability. Luckily these guys have someone at the top (summit) to go to bat for them when the average guy just has an extra supply of bs.

I wouldn’t be surprised one bit the admins are trying to push the CG group away. There’s been historic bad blood between the two. The server isn’t nearly what it used to be.

it does seem weird that the amount of points isn't dependent on the amount of time played. I don't know the point system but from the video, it seems that there's no way to lose the points after gaining them. it could/should be comparable to a driving license where after a period of time the point/warning disappears again.

The point accumulation makes sense if it resets after a certain amount of time. Like say if you get 25 points in a year then you can get perma’d but making a set amount of points with no reset over YEARS is ridiculous

This hits kind of home, I used to work at walmart and my coworker used to be late for work a lot but he outworked almost everyone and he was always done with his job every single day but because of a point system he was let go. We all did so much stuff that should've gotten us fired but we were talked to and such by a supervisor. Only let go cause of dumbass point system. 😡

Of course the admins want to push CG away. It's sad but it's true. Funny how it's almost only criminals who get banned. Also, it's a game, the admins are on a powertrip.

Best way to explain it would be that you should get say like 5 points a day and as long as you remain positive you're fine. What they're doing is giving everybody 100 points and each subtraction is permanent with no way to get back points, so it's literally just a matter of time before you hit 0, which for someone who's been playing for so long, it's pragmatically inevitable.

I dont even play GTA anymore but this whole thing seems like a bunch of kids on a power trip tbh. Literally the only power they will ever really have in their lives.

Im genuinely surprised that some of these streamers havent made their own version of NoPixel and just leave NoPixel. I get people want to play on NP but there is only so much of the shit that people can take.

If anything it's NVL to smash through a blockade at full speed. Also NVL to pit people in a wall at full speed(Which both sides do). Also NVL to run into a crim car thinking they will stop. Also NVL to play bumper carts to break down crim cars. Also NVL to run across a street while a high speed chase is going on to hope to spike strip crims. Also NVL to run in solo in a known gang territory. The whole reason why crims set up blockades is to get away from cops which is often nigh impossible with all their resources. Also why is Kyle not perma banned, he literally did the same thing as Taco. Shit talking the server when banned. The thing i get bothered with the most is the not being allowed to talk about bans. Idk why they dont have a kind of system where the old warnings wear off, because its as summit said, if you are on a server for years and years and the warnings stick forever you are eventually going to get to that critical level even if you are a flawless RPer 99.9% of the time.

On Minecraft Forum, such points expire after half a year. I once received a week ban, and coming back to that post 2 years later alienated me from my past.

Nopixel is a content server. Sometimes its fine or a rule break depending on if the badmins deem it "fun" or not

I just find it funny cg banned for toxicity (taco) and for warning points. Yet someone like Kyle and many others can go an ooc rant about cg and why he doesn’t like nopixel anymore because of them especially considering they as a community and group have made strides In the last 6 months to be better and more positive but is still somehow allowed on the server.. there is double standards in the administration side. There always is with every server. I guess the only way to get what you want is buy 25% share.

People that are there almost everyday and put a lot into the server for years should have a higher points before getting banned. You see so many people walking on eggshells because they're almost at those point it's crazy.

The issue is it seems like points don't drop off. The ones that have been around long enough playing permanently naturally build up issues

Summit is right, even though he was abrupt about the way he was going about it. But he is right. This was CG's Job. They literally spent Thousands of hours. They honestly built their community there. But Ramee Didn't deserve to be penalized IRL for an IC issue...

Its so easy to resolve this stuff with a simple convo. "Hey you cant block like that for x reason." "Oh my bad" "Can we void the block and have them take you into custody IC" Problem solved.

this is a cycle that appears in alot of small online communities. long time players start to get resented by staff and inevitably get perm banned for some silly reason. i have personally seen this happen across several different multiplayer games including arma 3 and a GTA RP server.

Nah... NoPixel 100% dies without Chang Gang lol... The rest of the RP is decent, but the Chang Gang RP is top tier A LOT of the time. Sometimes it's not so great, but a vast majority of the time it is. A LOT of the NoPixel admins are insanely liberal IRL and power trip because they "have power" in a video game. I fully expected Chang Gang to all be perma-banned years ago because of it, but now it's finally starting to happen.

They should just add a decay system for these points so long-term players don't need to worry about catching a permaban 5 years from now, it's a silly worry to force people to have. Let the points decay and if someone still hits the points with the decay system them you can CONSIDER the perma. This all just seems so arbitrarily stupid.

The number of cops that should have perma banned but haven't been is insane. I was worried it was something super serious like the RatedEpicz ordeal which is totally deserving of a permanent, but to Perma a day one NP RP Vet because of some RP point system? What is this China? PPL eff up in RP all the time and no I don't think anyone deserves to be treated exceptionally but c'mon, this is Shotz livelihood, he chose to make NP his home and his main source of streaming which definitely helped to grow the server to where it is today so a permanent ban should not be on the table. It's not like Shotz is some constant toxic RPer and not to do whataboutisms but I definitely remember many times guys like xQc were being super toxic in the beginning and didn't get Permabanned, why? Oh because he is a super popular streamer with a huge following that helped bring more traffic to NP! The punishment doesn't match the crime #FreeShotz!
