The scary part about this is, the Meeseeks are the perfect killing machines. They are driven by their desire for non-existence, which motivates them to do their tasks by any means necessary. And they certainly aren't above killing in order to fulfill their task. They can be damaged, but they can't be killed. And the worst part about this? We don't know how many Meeseeks can be summoned from one box, but we do know a whole lot of them can be summoned at once.

Abstract tasks are just as easy to succeed though. One of the definitions of popular is "liked, admired, or enjoyed by many people or by a particular person or group." So Mr. MeeSeeks has a LOT of avenues for success here. He can get her admired by one group, idolized by a single person, or in this case just "mobbed" by four people.

The existence of the stickler Meseeks implies that it’s the Meseeks themselves who decide when the task has been accomplished- they just have to 100%, truly believe that the task is done, and then they can disappear. So if they truly believed, by their logic, that killing Jerry solves the problem, they would probably still disappear.
