It's actually really sad how easily birds fall in love, and how hard they do it. My mom had a bird named Suki, and if you spend time with them they'll love you so much that your absence will kill them. Suki got sick, and the tragic thing is that Suki hid his sickness so he wouldn't make my mom sad, birds will often put on a strong face out of sheer loyalty until the moment they die. She finally noticed he was ill because he just didn't have the strength to keep up the act, she felt like something was wrong but he'd acted tired before, so she left him with some extra food and water and gave him lots of attention. Suki's last words were "I love you". Birds are the only pets I've seen that are as or more loyal than dogs, I couldn't ever get one even though I'd love to just because when Mom lost Suki, she said she lost the one thing in the world that could ever love her as much as me and my grandparents. Birds build STRONG bonds, when a bird makes a friend, it makes a friend for life. They can comprehend love, but they can't comprehend someone leaving them, the idea is completely alien to their nature. Beautiful creatures, in every last way.

From experience i can tell this sun conure really trusts his owner 100% even with loud sounds in the background to sleep like this and allow her to give him scritches ❤❤❤❤❤

These birds physically do not find that position comfortable. If you hold them like that it will actually just turn them on because they’re hormonal receptors are all under the wings and along the back and on their butt. Ofc if they are on the proper diet you have less to worry about. But 90% of parrots aren’t because of misinformation. This parrot is visibly horny. I don’t know if they did it on purpose or by accident, regardless it’s gross to see.

А чего ему не спать ? Змей на ветках вроде нету..... Хищников тоже...... Птица знает, что она в безопасности ! Доверяет...... Наша ворона спит сидя......иногда ложится на грудку....... раньше еще и клюв назад поворачивала......в обратную сторону...... У нас три кошки и они её не трогают ! Скорее она их в шутку гоняет....

This is the epitome of a bird cat nap. He is almost tummy up, but even this way, completely vulnerable with his side exposed, his little feet/toes, and his beak kind of going up and down in his dreams. Adorable, and kudos to you, for having established such an incredible bond and trust with your bird. Parrots can be kind of persnickety, from what I understand and they either love you, or hate you, and very rarely is there an in-between, and like other animals, will adopt really bad behaviour from traumatic environments…its completely evident this bird loves his home and family ♥️.
@@pattihowell4436 the person lays the bird on table and pets it for like 15 minutes. Then starts recording it. You think the bird likes to sleep in this position. No it's not. It's just the moment you see.

My God, that bird must be so loved and well-cared for, for it to feel comfortable enough in its environment to do that. For a normally nervous prey animal like a small bird to feel that safe, to the point where not only will it sleep in such a vulnerable position, but isn't even jolted awake by a pet....WOW. That bird has a damn good life! You must be an amazing bird owner 🥰

There’s no feeling more special than when an animal, that biologically _shouldn’t_ be comfortable sleeping near you, is knocked out next to you. The amount of love and trust you feel in that moment is incredible.
My cat does this to the point I think hes dead but if I move the couch to clean I freaking started ww3. Its like yea you can tough my belly while I'm out cold but move no furniture or die.

OMG he so 😌 relaxed...must be very loved! I have honestly never thought I would see a bird sleeping peacefully and someone's home and ask the owner pets it it stays asleep without any movement.. absolutely incredible! 😍💕
Yeah! I've seen a couple videos that say that parrots can get turned on by you and maybe even decide your their mate, because of that they might act aggressive. One explained in more detail that it happens when people pet the bird in the wrong way.

That's a Cockatiel in the background. The sound eminating from these sun conures is deafening. I used to work with conures. I'd hold them let them crawl on my shoulder. Their screams would literally cause me to temporarily go deaf in one ear and then I'd hear a tennitis like ring in my ears for some time. They are literally bad for your hearing. Gorgeous birds though.
ahh these young birdies have it so easy these days…I remember when we had to fly to school uphill both ways in the snow….bare winged no less!!! coddled little whipper snappers🥰
I'm pretty sure most birds don't like being on their backs because they feel vulnerable, so it really shows how comfortable that bird is, being not only on it's back but sleeping.
