I had a parent raised Sun Conure. She probably has about a 40 word vocabulary. She is hands down the smartest and most obedient pet that I ever had. She is now 21 years old and has always been a perfect pet, except for her sneaky chewing on stuff.
Awww how cute.! I have a Sun Conure named Mango who makes the same kissy noises. ❤️ He says peekaboo occasionally but that’s it. Thanks for sharing. These little guys are just adorable!
I've had a lot of birds in my life and Jenday and Sun Conures in particular alert to whatever objects we have in our hands - like a smartphone. So with my Jenday I started introducing my smartphone as a play toy during play time and in just a few weeks she lost complete interest and stopped alerting to it every time I picked it up. Now I can take pics of her when she gets in her comical moods and she she no longer alerts on the phone.
how old was your Sunny when he started talking? my Sunni is almost 6mos old. i adopted him at 3wks. handfed til he weaned at 12wks. hes not saying any words yet and i work with him as much as possible. your bird is beautiful
I have a jenday conure named sunny. A few years ago I bought a sun conure so the jenday would have a friend. Turns out the sun conure's name was also sunny!! Very common name!

I am watching this because of my bird that my mom selled I am sad that she’s gone it’s been 6 months or 8 months and I miss her so much you can look at my RU-vid I have a vid of her ignore the other vids pls this vid made my day like I was with her. The words that I remember that she said was peeeeekkkkaaaaaboooooo and kiss kiss and kiss noises and she loved to kiss me but when I first got her she was mean but I make her dance a lot and she started to guard me from my sisters and mom sometimes I kiss her too she took off my stuff on me she was teh kindest bird I ever met I will never replace her I want her here rn I miss her so much :( this whole vid made me say this like when I wrote a not about my dad :( I don’t wanna say the note it’s sad too but this vid made my day tysm :)

My Uncle he is going to give me a sun Conure's baby because he has a lot of them and they gave eggs so when the eggs will hatch he is going to give me it ... AHHHHHHHHH IM SO EXCITED !!!
