I think the whole point of Imu making the sea level rise is to kill all the devil fruit users . Most islands will be under the sea so the devil fruits will appear in Imu's location since all the other trees that can bear fruit will be lost.

It says that Sun God Nika is an Elbaf deity; in contrast JoyBoy ate the fruit that embodies/resembles that deity. There’s no mistaking that JoyBoy and Nika are two different things. What isn’t confirmed is whether the devil fruit is Nika or if Nika itself is still an Elbaf deity (myth or real).

My theory is that nika is an actual god that died and joyboy found him as a fruit and was the frist to eat it. Then joyboy is from the ancient kingdom my guess so is every D clan members that was there kingdom. Now my theory on how it all started is from the enel short story i think birka had 3 scientist mostlikly 4 (aka just like the maad scientist) and they came and changed the earth making mother nature angry doing thing that defines nature. Another theory to be looked into is what is that Shanks risk his arm for.? The Gorosei changed it's name so that it couldn't be recognized and shanks took that risk I believe. Look at when he seen luffy's wanted picture. It was a smile like a bet paid off and he said it's almost time to see luffy which could imply he could have other plans on the risk he took to fight Imu or a final boss.

What if the tree on Elbaf is not the Adam Tree but a 4th tree Yggdrasil and makes sense it provides devil fruits as its said its roots and branches traverse other dimension giving it its mystical nature.

Maybe the reason why you need the rio poneglyph is because Imu destroyed the 4 Islands arround Laugh Tale that could set your Log pose to that location.

My theory is that the Fishmen/ Fishmen tribe are survivors/people who managed to make it out of the last global calamity like this and were able to survive in smaller groups by adapting to the sea/ evolving. Remember Oda drawing that one cover page or some shit where Luffy was a fishman. Hehehehehehe That would very well explain why the celestials who managed to survive by living on top of the red line hate humans who originated from the surface world (basically everybody else) and especially fishmen (considering they're still surviving barely) and see them as slaves.

What if each type of fruit comes from a specific tree? Like zoans come from the whale tree. The Adam tree produces paramecia and the eve produces logia?

I have a theory that these three trees produce devil fruits of a certain type like for example Adam tree produces one type of devil fruits such as paramecia, eve produces another type and the zunesha tree produces another type.

After watching this video a theory came to my head - maybe the "awakening" cloud's color is based off which tree the fruit came from? Joyboy was first Nika fruit user. The legend of Sun God Nika arose from a Nika fruit user. Earthquakes can also be created by the Gura Gura No Mi. The three trees bear the 3 types of devilfruits - The whale tree bears zoans. The one in Elbaf (Adam) bears paramecia and the one in Mareijois bears logia

Sooo, Sun God Nika is the deity that the people of Elbaf looked up to which manifested into a DF that Joyboy had. Him being the first pirate, one could assume that he created the One Piece (the legendary treasure). This treasure would have been considered only "usefull" if the world was flooded hence why Rayleigh/Roger mentioned that they werent ready yet. I still believe that Joyboy was an actual giant as well (hence the big Straw Hat at Mary Geoise/the scenes with Oars at Thriller Bark using Luffys DF abilities). The Straw Hats respresent crowns, Luffys and Joyboys - my theory is that Imu used to be the one who originally wore the Straw Hat of Luffy. And its quite interesting that the "common" Celestial Dragons dont know anything of the Void Century, which means they got brainwashed from the get-go. Wonder what they have been taught from a young age? This could be related to Whitebeards predicition of a huge war, imagine the Celestial Dragon finding out that their whole life was a lie, set up by the government?
