It’s always nice to see 12th housers talking about the 12th house. It seems those who don’t have significant 12th house placements don’t really get it. I’m a 12th house Sun and Mercury in Cancer. It truly does get better with time. I genuinely don’t see anything I went through as a struggle. I am grateful for who I have become, and because of that, I’m able to see the veil of illusion so clearly. Nothing is real other than love and light. Everything else are merely projections of fear. The beauty of the 12th house is the profound connection to your higher self/source at all times. It’s second nature for me to communicate with the spirits of life around me - both my family who’ve crossed or even the spirit of a tree. I also found myself using my inner guidance through grade school rather than the material and formulas that were provided. I became a reiki master and teacher at 18 years old because that’s what mattered to me. I love 12th house ❤️❤️❤️
It gets better with time.. the older I get the more connected I feel with all that is.. Always treasure the deeply compassionate part of yourself and be there for others.. people tend to project their hidden sides on us. It’s important to understand that they are doing it unconsciously, they really just seek help or someone to “see” their struggles.. with the sun here it’s like they finally see a light in the dark and they go towards it. Try to be there for them, but know your boundaries and learn to choose wisely.. you cannot help everyone and that’s ok! If you feel unseen then realize that you are seeking validation in the wrong place.. love and value yourself and realize how blessed you really are.. The universe/ god, whatever you call it, is always loving you, protecting you and seeing your true self.. that’s how seen and important you really are 🙏🏻☀️🙏🏻 from a Sun and Venus in the 12th
I have Aries sun and mars in 12th house. When I was younger, I wouldn’t defend myself and would want to help people all the time even if it meant sacrificing my peace. With age it got way better and I saw it got better after getting seen by a therapist and have been for almost 2 years. I’m 32 and for those that fears this placement I’d say that it’s imperative to talk to a professional a bout what you’ve been through. Then accept your placement for what it is and love yourself. I no longer give an excuse as to why I don’t show up to parties or hang out. If I don’t go, it’s because I don’t want to. Time is all we have so if something drains me of my time with myself or my kids in a very unproductive way, I say no. I know sometimes I get too deep in my thoughts to where I feel like I can really feel things or I get so entranced by music it brings me to tears. It is what it is and I’m ok with that

You explained this very well. I have this placement. It gets better as you get older. I'm Cancer Sun with Cancer rising in the 12th house. I used to be extremely shy when I was growing up. But I always got straight A's in school, and read alot of books. I have 3 college degrees. I know alot about everything because of all the reading I've done. I'm much more outgoing now, but I'm still very private. I just launched my own business, but reluctant to post a video, but love writing my blog. My Mom (a Virgo Sun in the 12th. Libra rising) also has this placement. She is a loner and a hermit. We always have to call and check on her. But she was a talented seamstress.
Sun, jupiter, mercury in Gemini in the 12H. Mental health issues, drug issues, father on drugs, jail, abusive relationships... all until 2018 when I moved out by myself and the seclusion has allowed me to grow and blossom and essentially transform. I had to actively disengage from everything and then start from fresh. I wasnt interested in astrology until I learned about the 12th H and I finally felt so much understanding about why I was the way I was, even though in my heart and soul I knew a better, happier, more positive life was out there.... well actually, in here **points to self** ☀️☀️☀️☀️☀️

You have Moon in the 12th house? Is it true that those who have the Moon there may find it difficult to sleep at night or have nightmares? This is what I remember from what I've read about this placement. ⠀ I have Sun in the 12th house. ⠀ 4:10 I spend a lot of time alone every single day. ⠀ 6:10 I feel guilty about expressing myself or talking about myself. Everyone else is so much louder and wants to be heard. ⠀ I've noticed that even if I want to share something about myself, no one really cares. Yes I have a 12th house moon (and saturn) and i would say that could be a thing that happens to them, it hasn't really happened to me personally and can easily be affected. Glad you related and enjoyed the video! And yes, i agree that they need to learn to say "no", a really hard for thing for them to learn sometimes unfortunately.

It isn’t about being a loner that doesn’t know themself, it’s about self discovery, it doesn’t mean you’re bound to be forever alone and the creator never said that at any point of the video. However what is difficult for this placement is self expression, as the sun is the ego, but that doesn’t mean it’s IMPOSSIBLE, nobody said that. Why’d you think so many creative celebrities have 12th house sun? The most famous artists in the world have 12th house suns, because they allowed themselves to express themselves in the public eye. The 12th house is about reclaiming YOU, that’s literally the life lesson, what you wrote, is the 12th housers life lesson, to be authentic, to be true to themselves and others, that’s what 12th housers do in this lifetime, cus the sun brightens up any house no matter how confusing or dark that house may be, the sun always brightens the universe and it certainly does to the 12th house too. Some charts say my sun is in the 11th house some say the 12th , same with my Jupiter placement. My moon is in 12th and some day the 1st.. like huh ? Lol over all of this . Great video ❤️
sorry but this is a bad house for the sun. it is hell. do you know by the way how can we cope with this? all this is true, whatever I do I feel people do not care. I've been through a lot of this, specially childhood it is not fun. I mean I guess I do not care either, it's complicated but I always push people away: silenced, putted to the side, not recognized.
I too are 12th house sun opposite 6th house neptune. which only mulityplies neptune. YEAH IVE ALWAYS FELT ISSOLATED. often feeling silenced as a child. often felt overlooked. But even as a adult people often it feels like I'm not noticed. when I try to speak up , often I'm silenced.
Hi Jake. Thanks for the video. I am a 12th house sun conjunct Pluto in libra and Uranus, mercury, mar and venus rx in scorpio. The struggle is hard. Everything I do sometimes seems to not matter much. I identified with your explanation of the sun in the 12th. It's very hard to be seen or recognized. The self is very lost here I have experienced. There's extremely self reflection in solitude and with the setelium I have here, everything is even harder to accomplish. Will be waiting for your take on the rest of the planets in this house. The only person with a 12th house sun i got close (leo rising, sun in cancer [12 th]) was a big gossip and stabbed me in the back, don't think that's because of the 12th house but it wasn't a good introduction to it haha

I recently watch a 12th house video (from party trick astrology) that was very good and they mention a twelfth house planet conjunctions to the ascendant and how this manifests. I think it’s basically where you project the planet very strongly, but you yourself don’t have access to it idk
Jake Astrology I have a Capricorn moon and a Venus in Virgo but 4 other placements in Scorpio. I’m afraid of emotions and act composed when we people display them. I dk that I’m psychic.
