You got a good deal for $30 ! I've had one of these for 8 or 10 years now. Love it. Yeah, an extension cord model might be a little inconvenient at times, but no battery to worry about and always plenty of power. One thing. Don't forget to use a grease injection tool for the nose wheel sprocket.
Thanks, I was getting worried about mine. Mine came with the wrench but no bolt? only a hand cap screw. But then I saw yours was the same, I realize no need to worry. All good. Thanks about to try mine!
A Great Investment! Worked like a Charm, cut like butter, gravity did all the work. FYI, I realized my BOLT was imbedded into the cap, instead of prying it loose, I had initially screwed the cap loose, and unbeknownst to me, the bolt was imbedding inside the cap and the bolt turned along with the cap as I turned it. All good, I tighten my bolt with the wrench and popped the Cap back on. Thanks!
Thanks nice demo. Just got mine probably don't need to read the assembly sheet now. It doesn't seem to cut too smooth from the demo..but hey..i just wanted a cheap one for limited use.
I got the very same chainsaw Thursday, an it in no way cut as easily as you just did. Made sure the blade was going in the right direction still was cutting slow. The branches I was cutting was the same thickness as the one you did. One was a lil thicker , was a long process
They make a really thick oil called bar oil. It’s strictly are used to lubricate the chain of the chainsaw. In a pinch I’ve used old motor oil, but it will use it a lot faster.
So far the sauce seems to be working pretty good, of course it didn’t work good when I had the blade turn the other way. Just curious have you had bad luck with this Brand saw?
I saw your comment while i was looking to see about getting a new chain for the saw. This saw has done so much work for not only me but my neighbors! We had yes fall on our property, big ones. This took care of all of it. Plus yearly maintenance on my property and my neighbors! I've had it for years! Friends borrow it! It does amazing work!
The best Oil to use would be bar oil it’s really thick. Have used whatever oil is laying around. Typically after an oil change, then it makes it even cheaper. 30 weight is the most common and works just fine. 5W30, 10W30 SAE30. I’ve had good luck with any of it, it just runs I have the blade a little faster. Hope this answers your question
