You and me both! but unfortunately my lawn need to be more leveled. So for right now I will go back to regular mowing. Around fall time I should have my lawn leveled good enough to bring the reel mower back out. I can't wait thanks for viewing !!!
@@JohnDoe12515 in my opinion the catcher is a waste of time. It catch some of the clippings but most of the clippings goes in the front of the mower. And also when the catcher is off the mower performance is better. Thanks for watching!
thanks for the review. i think the blockage came from taking to much of a cut. the 1/3 rule(lol). it can throw smaller pieces farther. I am debating a reel mower so your review showed me some helpful things.
you are right. my grass was too tall. and also I need to do some lawn leveling in the fall.this mower don't perform well on uneven surface. I have a lot of work to do

Hey now from your video it looks like you have a small slope to cut. Was it fairly easy? This reel mower takes me back to my youth where we learned how to cut grass. Thank you for making this video I can't wait to unbox mine 😊👍
I love this reel mower!!the slope was good to cut, I sold mine because I have too many uneven areas in the yard. so this season and fall I will do some lawn leveling projects. I will get anther one in the future ,maybe next year!! the reel mower give a cleaner cut than the rotary mower. thanks for viewing!!!
Hello. Sorry for the late reply. I love the real mowers but unfortunately, I sold them because my lawn has too many humps and dips. And the reel mower couldn’t work at a great performance. I have been doing some lawn leveling and my front yard is getting better. But my backyard needs more leveling. Other than that the reel mower gives you a better and sharper cut.
Sorry, for the late reply, there is a Scotts Reel more that have a catcher. But it is sold on Amazon. The ones that are sold in Home Depot don't have a grass catcher unfortunately.
You are trying to cut too much grass at a time. Lift the cut so it only takes one quarter of an inch each time. Also, reel mowers work best when the grass in less than 1 inch tall.
