That's a bit of dirt, and leaf debris in the Composting Drawer, and some of the "Compost Quick" Enzyme Liquid on the toilet, that I mentioned in the video, but didn't show, not what you might be thinking! The toilet is UNUSED. The compost mix is called Sure Green, and you can use it for camp toilets, or any composting toilet. It's amazing...no odor!! P.S. I was in touch with the wonderful folks at Sun Mar, and they said NOT to use peat moss if you run out of Sure Green. I said it LOOKED like peat moss by the way, not that it WAS peat moss. We are getting a shipment of Sure Green Composting Mix, (5 bags) and will be bringing them to the Cabin, to the Outhouse...next trip up, in a week or two. That will be plenty to start up the two Sun Mar Toilets in the Spring, and fill the cans, one of which is seen at 3:11, with the Compost Mix. We will have to wait until Spring as it is too cold now to proceed. =/ I also have to double check the amount of time you have to leave the waste in the Finishing Drawer. I have heard everything from 30 days to 3 months. I guess it will depend if you add to the Finishing Drawer in the Summer or in Winter, when the contents are sure to freeze, (in our case, as the Outhouse is unheated), and you would have to wait until it thaws for it to be fully composted. So, I wanted to pass that along, with a BIG Thank You to Melinda at Sun Mar!!!! Also...I know this video isn't the best, as I am still learning things about my iPad, like where the microphone is located...hmmmm...so bear with me please! I'll get better!! Thanks!!

This shed was destroyed in a wind storm winter 2022. "A" couldn't even find the shed doors, the toilet vent pipes, or the plywood, that was installed at the back of the shed, after this video was made. It was almost finished!! Everything that survived, was covered in three feet of snow. One garbage can was ruined, but everything else survived. We are going to rebuild, an outhouse made of WOOD, bigger, and it will include a bathtub, and a large deck surrounding the exterior. I see 2,420 views! Thank you!! Could you PLEASE subscribe. It helps me know what people want to see. More building and Sun Mar completion in the old outhouse, this Spring. Due to...you know...we couldn't go to the Cabin as much as we would have hoped.
