Laundry was free during our cruise in the Med this past July. I heard it will change to pay when the Sun is cruising the Caribbean. Best time to find an empty laundry machines is during port days when many people are off the ship. Plus since the laundry rooms are in the same location on each deck and near the elevators/stairs, you can check each laundry room for empty machines very easily. A big pro was the buffet. Staff behind the counters fill your plate, you do not. Cuts down on contamination. A huge con for us was that too many kids take over the pools and Jacuzzis. Kids are hardly watched by parents. Plus there are no lifeguards. Con 2 - cabin closets are not as good as on other Princess ships (Caribbean Princess to name one). Now its a typical cruise ship layout, not as roomy. Con 3 - when the buffet closes, free coffee and drinks are also closed. But water was available. My cruise had 4500 passengers, not packed at capacity. All in all we had a great cruise.

I'm booked a little farther out cause of scheduling . Next may 😥😥. But I'm glad we waited. Gave them a chance to work out all the kinks. SHIP LOOKS AWESOME!!! GREAT VID!!! THANKS
I cruised on Princess 25+ times (so I'm Elite). It's interesting that you pointed out that suites and elites are on deck 9. Elites can be anywhere on the ship. In addition, I no longer cruise on Princess. Not interested in rubbing elbows with 6K passengers and the changes that they've made made it so I don't want to sail with them anymore. I especially dislike the upgrade packages...too much money for things that I don't want/need.
Thanks for this. I’m bummed about the gym size as I plan to use it everyday. Any recommendations on best time to go for cardio that isn’t super early? Do you think I’ll be able to stream Netflix/Viki to the TV for my K dramas? My trip is this fall. 🤗
My pleasure! Gym will be super packed on sea days. If you go in the evenings, it’s probably less crowded. I recommend brining an HDMI cable and connecting your laptop to the TV since I don’t think the TV had a screen share option. Have fun!
