If someone feels that these litre class behemoths could have developed smaller capacity bikes without collaboration then there is nothing that can be said. JLR, Norton, Tetley, Hamleys and the list is long. Also circle back to my original comment. Unlike others I made it very clear, I mentioned 'hint of India' Not made in India.

Actually Sunak was meaning buy things from local english men. Recently some particular people in UK was promoting their community stores and products from middle east countries. One example is in some company a muslim tried to promote Ahmed tea and some milk powder from arab countries by convicting HR for his plan to boycott Jewish product .He convinced the HR lady that he is promoting local business .This is happening throughout britain .Local business owned by local english men are closing because of bad publicity and boycott from peaceful community

The ethos of British self sufficiency goes back to the end of WW2 & was repeated by Thatcher who sold public housing prioritised to migrants cheaply, since these were not replaced we now have a housing shortage & high migrant population (the largest is Indian & Pakistani). Britain now grows tomatoes which I buy weekly. The basic idea is to buy British goods of all types where possible rather than shoddy goods from abroad; we used to have a thriving textile industry but now import cheap cotton polyester from Asia. Economics tend to go in cycles but this is made worse by politicians who paid to leave the dictates of the EU & gave away fishing rights etc (but keep our morality in supporting Ukraine). We need better leaders. India is gradually breaking apart & people in slums given toxic asbestos ceilings with a foam covering to cope with soaring temperatures while the wealthier have air conditioning. We all have our problems, India's are just surfacing. Sharma slags off the West but will soon call for help when China invades Indian land & renames it, she has a very unpleasant disposition. It is easier to lose allies than to make them, Russia & China have no sentiment, just self interest - you have much in common.
