The foundation is dry pour I didn't include it here.
I want to rate this shed 9 out of 10 because I really like it. But the typos in the manual and the misaligned screw hole just grind my gears..
I didn’t use mortar to do the dry pour so the foundation is not perfectly leveled, but it tended out to be fine because the shed base is plastic.
Unlike what the manual said, it’s okay to use electric screw driver, as long as it’s on a low torque setting.
I put all the panels outside against my fence for a week before I started the project. Some of the panels were slightly bent. Which made the last piece of roof panel hard to fit in. (I used some bricks as weights for this issue, as I was working alone)
Never done any build project before, moving the concrete bags alone already hurt my back, so I decided to do a dry pour instead. (It is not bad at all!)
The lesson I learned is that avoid project like this during winter. Daylight hours are short, I didn't have much time to work on it after work.

Great video. How many bags of concrete did you use at what poundage? How long did it take to build it?
@beefbeefbeef4
@beefbeefbeef4 6 месяцев назад
About 35 bags of 80 pounds. But I will choose 60 lbs bags if I do another of this. 80lbs really hurt my back. It took me 3 weeks, mainly due to the delivery. Home Depot only deliver on Friday in my area, and I avoided the rainy days. The total working hours is about 20-25 hours though, I let the concrete cure for a week.

Hey man i have a question im gonna build mine today but im wondering How did you secure the base to the ground since it is concrete?
@beefbeefbeef4
@beefbeefbeef4 5 месяцев назад
I didn't secure it to the ground, I think its own weight will secure it. After I was half way done with the shed, it's hardly move an inch. There are a lot of steel beams.

@beefbeefbeef4, how is the dey pour holding up? I have the same shed and am trying to decide between a wet or dry pour.
@beefbeefbeef4
@beefbeefbeef4 5 месяцев назад
The dry pour holding up very well so far. Mine was using regular concrete instead of mortar, so some of the small pebbles on the edges and surfaces became loose during curing. Not a huge deal but it looks a bit ugly. Wet pour doesn't have this issue though because the "cream" will come out on top and give a very good seal. I strongly recommend to check out other dry pour videos and get the EXACT concrete/mortar for the job, and avoid this mistake I made 😂

Did the black flooring come with the kit as well?
@beefbeefbeef4
@beefbeefbeef4 6 месяцев назад
Yes, it does. The floor is part of the kit. The kit also include baskets and hooks to mount on the wall.

Sweet video! I just got one of these and hoping to build it on my own too. About how long did it take you to assemble the shed itself?
@beefbeefbeef4
@beefbeefbeef4 6 месяцев назад
Awesome! The shed itself took me about 8-10 hours. I do enjoy using it, am also planning to add a double reflective insulation.

Helpful video. Did you have any issues with screw/bolt holes not lining up as they should?
@beefbeefbeef4
@beefbeefbeef4 2 месяца назад
Yes, I did.. Especially the roof panels, there are few places that the holes are not aligned very well. The good part is that the whole thing is plastic, it's very tolerant to where I put the screws.

@@beefbeefbeef4 thanks, I'm just doing the pre assembly and have already ran into several misalignments. I guess i can just drill new holes though

Did the instructions indicate that the shed door could be installed shifted to the RIGHT instead?
@beefbeefbeef4
@beefbeefbeef4 6 месяцев назад
Sadly, no. The wall panels have to be installed in the EXACT order and positions. Which gives the door shift to the right to open.

@@beefbeefbeef4 just FYI, Costco has an exclusive 8x7' models in stock now, for only $999 before tax, which is outstanding. Their online version of same runs $1149, unfortunately.

@@VideoNOLA Thanks, the 8x7 model sounds like more bang for the buck. Ya, the one in store is like $100 cheaper but Ii don't have a truck to haul it. Before Costco has free shipping, it charges $150 for delivery. It's the cost I have to pay unfortunately. The 10x7 model I bought online from Costco is $1,649.99.....
