What a beautiful day to be out enjoying a nice hike & visiting a church & getting some amazing footage of the hike where you could see the different water levels etched into the rock walls on either side of you. The close up of the Hibiscus was so beautiful. The cooling refreshing swim at the end of the video looked so relaxing. Youe wife will enjoy that time there swimming with you & just relaxing with you. Thank you for taking us along on your hike to the beach. Glad you and your wife were not affected by the flash flood in the narrow canyon with steep walls. Many people lose their lives in such circumstances, so you need to know the weather forecast Even if it is not raining where you are, it can be raining miles away and the water travels very fast from the higher elevations and gets funneled into those canyons quickly creating life threatening situations.Thank God you were OK.

Thank you! Las Palmas reminds me of my island here on Aruba. Our beaches are white though and its a tiny island. Las Palmas has a lot of natural sites.

Be VERY careful in steep gullies like that. It can rain miles away and then here comes the water out of nowhere. It happens all the time in the US deserts. Love you, wouldn't want anything to happen to you. I always enjoy your videos.

Love your videos. I have just watched a young man, Liam Brown, who hiked across la gomera and la Palma. It will be interesting for you to see your beautiful island through different eyes.

Benjamin, are you following the events on the island of Hawaii. Mauna Loa is now erupting. It is the largest volcano in the world, over 1000 meters from the sea floor. And interestingly enough the other active volcano on Hawaii, Kilauea, is also erupting. If you stand in just the right location, you can see both of them. The time zone there is two hours earlier than Pacific time zone on the west coast of the US. There are several RU-vid livestreams that live there nighttime. Namely Two Pineapples and DrFox2000. I encourage you to have a look. Regarding that dangerous narrow passage you showed us is morphologically similar to areas in Zion National Park in Utah. The landscape is eroded red sandstone, dissected by many canyons. The area is noted for deep, narrow areas known as ‘slot canyons.’ Any number of people have been drowned there while hiking during moist weather. The slot canyons are subject to flash floods which happen without warning.
