Sunday 2008 Skiing New ChairLift at Crystal Mt, WA

I just wanted to share this video of my first day of skiing in 2008 and what a day it was. I was able to go with my friend Steven up to Crystal Mountain, Washington yesterday (Sunday Jan. 6th 2008). There has been tons of snow falling here in the Pacific Northwest. In last few days about 2 feet (24") has come down so we said lets go to the mountain. Sunday morning was sunny with enough new snow for all to enjoy. I was able to get some video of the day including a rare shot of me coming down a little shoot in the trees after a trip up the new Northway Chairlift at Crystal. Had a great day and wish everyone can get up to the mountains this year and see life wonders unfold in the great outdoors. i have not been sking for twenty + years. these chair lifts at chrystal go into eternity, its is like heaven and just like a dream.

The chair really opens up tons of terrain. It felt strange riding the chair up for the first time like I didn't know where I was at. Great times. Thanks for the comment. dwp moteev.

Sounds good but I need to figure out how to mount camera on something since skiing down some of my favorite expert runs would be tricky while filming but hope to get some downhill footage soon and then will both see how that looks. Thanks for the comment and see you on the slopes, dwpetersen.

It seems to take about 10 minutes but I don't exactly know. It is a two seater and not a high speed chair but after those back step runs a nice little chair lift break is greatly needed. Think Snow and thanks for the question.
