Yes….. I was so scared the entire time and maybe I was 13-14 at that time…… and I didn’t know it was Shabana Azmi (though I knew her) she looked to scary and different ❤
Im sorry to burst ur bubble dear but she is not!! There was a family function in my family and she was the chief guest..two small children one boy one girl very politely approached her and asked for a picture and she literally just pushed both of them away with her one hand.. after sometime one woman was capturing her pic from a distance..when shabana saw that she immediately covered her face with her hand so that she cannot do that..I mean why so much arrogance man! If u don't want to get clicked just say it nicely nobody will force u!
Good free-flowing easy conversations - I agree. What is "intellectual" in these Q&A? Can you give example of another 1-on-1 interview that is not "calm"? When the topic is not politics, isn't Shabana Azmi always "composed, and happy" in public life? Sometimes we just randomly put adjectives without understanding their measures. Sorry. Plainspeaking. On second thought I realize there is no need to write this. But aadat se majboor.
What an interesting chat! All the younger generation actors shud take some tips from Shabana on how to keep the interview interesting and how you reveal interesting facts to fans. Thank you, Kamiya for this lovely chat with the reigning queen of Indian cinemas.
She is such a down to earth person, once I posted a birthday message on Javed Sir, Shabana mam personally replied me quoting Thank you… Great actor & great person ❤
It was such a fresh and real interview. One has a ton of takeaways whenever one listens to Her.. Shabana Ma'am is so down to earth.. even after 50 years of acting career and doing parts which were scrutinized and she add meat and weight by her presence and work.. Such a pleasure knowing she loves Indian food. Wow!
Very true...even I am always amazed by these celebrity ladies telling they don't enter kitchen...I understand they have a very busy schedule and can't do it on a daily basis...but not knowing at all is something which is hard to digest.
Hello Kamiya, I only wanted to express my appreciation for your skills as an interviewer. You have become such a charming and engaging presence, and your calm demeanor adds a special touch to your content. I truly enjoy watching your interviews. May you continue to be blessed in all that you do.
Exactly....took away husband n even her kids but that man he used that woman when he needed a step to earn n entry in industry then dumped her when she wasn't useful anymore n used this one for next step
Loved the episode. Shabana Azmi has been one of the actors I've admired for the longest time. That she was so chilled out in the interview, was really refreshing to watch. Thanks!
Finally we can someone real from the industry. Such a warm genuine personality. What a great actress and no show offs and naatak with food. love and respect mam ❤❤❤
Thanks for having Shabana Azmi, greatly enjoyed her journey of life very candid, she never hides her humble beginnings and as always sprinkled with endearing humour.
One of the best interviews Kamiya ! Thanks for bringing her on to the show 🙏🏻😇. Shabana has always been my fav actress ! But pls listen to her interview, you will definitely have lot of takeaways-on pyaar , zindagi & maaza 💞😇
Kamijee, This is an amazing episode of your promram I have so far seen. Shabana jee speaks just like us. So sweet, soft spoken, spontaneous, without anything fake, just natural. There's no fake celebrities attitude in her. The way she talks about food is awesome. We often do things like that. I want to say a lot of things about her and this episode but I don't want to latitude. Stay blessed Lot of love from Lahore. Pakistan.
Shabana is half hyderabadi half lakhnawi. The current day lahore is a punjabi who thinks punjabi is a paindu language and speaks urdu as if they are mohajirs.😂 How is she like you ? Please...
@@vivekyadav1 I would make some corrections here about things you misunderstood. I never said she's like us. I said she speaks like us. It's your misconception that Punjabi is a pando language, not at all. We all speak Panjabi but people love to speak Urdu because first off, it's our national language and then, it's soft and sweet. We feel proud in speaking Urdu, even across the country where different languages are spoken, people love to teach and speak with their kids in Urdu. They think speaking urdu latitude their personality. It's not like your country where people love to speak English instead of Hindi. This is the difference. Remember one thing, never use harsh words or offend. I think prejudice people like you were the main cause for separation in 1947.
@@mudassarjehan381 you don't need to tell us indian punjabis that punjabi is not a paindoo language. It's you pakistani punjabis who think so. As for partition, look who's talking. The people who wanted a separate country and got it..😄
Love how Shabana Azmi rightly calls our film industry by its respectable name, "Hindi Film Industry" instead of this cheap copy "Bollywood" word. Senior actors like her must start a movement to get rid of this disgusting term to refer to one of the oldest industries in the world!
I'd read the story of the two kinds of dal that would be on the table at the Azmi household in Shabana Azmi's note in Kaifiyat, a collection of Kaifi Azmi's poems. I thought of it the moment I saw that Shabana Azmi did this food-related interview, and it was wonderful to actually listen to her tell that story for the camera!
10:25 This reminds me of one of the news channel videos on protest location where Farhan had no idea what was wrong with the CAA Act but was just there. Shabana ma’am must’ve just sent him since he was idle at home🤣
excellent interview ..I love to hear and learn very much from intellectual people like shabana ji..pls bring sharmila ji waheeda ji asha ji on curly tales
So agree and follow the same way to make a small difference to people around which was my dear parents philosophy 🙏🙏 it is a lovely heartfelt conversation ❤️
✌🏻✌🏻✌🏻✌🏻Kaamya ji shd join hands wth Shabana ji to raise voice fr non English speaking parnts ,who wish 2 join in Esteemed schools✌🏻✌🏻✌🏻Curly Tales literally shl Curl up things dt matter only to Elevate standrds of ppl🙏🏻🙏🏻
I loved this episode. Thank you Kamiya for your sweetness and Shabanaji for being so modest, down to earth, and honest. I can watch it again and again. Mousumi Canada
How strange that Shabana can't mention that the film "whats love got to do with it" is centered around a Pakistani arranged marriage and the lead has two Pakistanis including Sajal Ali. The film is made by Jemima Khan and Shekhar Kapoor. How sad, India can't tolerate confronting the name of Pakistan and Pakistani. Shabana is probably self-censored.
The interview is good till she said Honey is like a family member. Wasn’t she always? You are second not her. She is family it’s because of her the family is there otherwise it would have been just you and your husband.. dumb statement.. so stupid
My mom met shabana Azmi when India was poor and few ppl abroad so they would communicate and be friendly with ppl from abroad or on the street of a foreign country. The stars used to earn as much as ppl abroad. Now indian stars make shit loads and their attitudes have changed as well because now we have all kinds of fobs infesting orher foreign countries. I saw Shabana Azmi in a bad light. I didn't have the same experience my parents had when they saw her or when I was in india in the 80s.
If she means work necessarily as responsibility, then no these days modern jobs are horrible plus we should have immnse choice we cant compromise for society
Shabanaji is such a warm, fun, happy and lovely person❤ i always thought she would be like way too serious types with the kind of heavy films ihv watched her in
