The law of really big numbers guarantees downvotes on every video eventually. Even if 100% of the people who watched, liked it, (which is also unlikely due to that same law), the chances of people ACCIDENTALLY hitting the dislike button also goes up. I've done this before too.

I'm reading an hour 'til Saturday, myself.

How ? Ariana Grande is supported and promoted by a record label. She has an agent. She started out acting and singing on a tv show on an international kid's channel, also known as Nickelodeon, (which gets her a whole bunch of exposure) built up a fan base from that, and that fan base grew up with her. Then she started to focus (haha) on her singing career and her fan base grew even more, as more and more of her songs play on the radio. And she's gotten even more publicity from magazines, interviews, tv shows, radio, entertainment news etc. She is an international pop (pop stands for popular in case you didn't know) because she sings music that the majority of people will like and relate to. Obviously someone with that much exposure will get more RU-vid views than a guy making trippy music ( for free with no copyright as Jake allows anyone to use his music) on RU-vid that most people only know about because of Vsauce. She's in it for the fame , riches, and the joy of making music. He's in it simply for the joy of making music. I'm not even a fan I just hate illogical people
