*Lord, I desire to love You with my whole being. Increase my love for You and allow that love to overflow into every relationship I have in life. May love be the one and only mission of my life. Jesus, I trust in You.*
Thank you Fr Warner for explaining the work of the scribes in detail, their dedication to the letter of the law, but not the spirit of the law. They were so absorbed in the minor details that they forgot how to love God and neighbour. We are all guilty of the same transgression...indeed how far we are from the kingdom of God! Thank you for helping us introspect. Many of us attend mass and receive Holy communion daily, but loving God and neighbour needs a very deep commitment and dedication which we have to strive for daily. God bless you
Thk u our adorable Fr Warner for d explaining d word of God so well. I kept thinking all day am I close or am I far from d kingdom of God. It’s time we realize how much we love God or we are just fulfilling our obligations by loving our God. Thk u our Fr n prayers for u always. Hv a blessed nite our Fr.
Fr. honestly speaking, I may be praying several times but do I love every person I come across or encounter. May be, my answer would be simply "NO"... Let my prayer to the Lord be to strive to love every person I come across, even the ones I may not like. Thank you Fr. for the inspiring homily, helping me to reflect on the greatest commandment "To love God with all your heart.....and with all your strength and to love your neighbour as yourself"...prayers for you, Dad and family.
A good question to ask ourselves, Am I far or Am I I close to the Kingdom of God?, Do I love God enough to love my neighbor as well, What is my purpose in life? What are God's plans for me? Thank you Father, the daily guidance you give us thru the breaking of the Word.
Happy Sunday Fr.Warner. YES.....It is very important to obey the first 2 commandments than to offer animals n other sacrifices to GOD. If we do so, we are not far from the kingdom of GOD. AMEN. God bless u your dad n fly. 🙏🕊️❤️.
Dear God, Jesus taught that the greatest command of all. With the help of your Holy Spirit help us to obey this command to truly love you and to love others. In Jesus’ name - Amen!
