Ali you're so gorgeous and your hair is looking so much better omg. I went through a similar journey with my hair and here is my advice now that I have it long and healthy again in case anyone wants to read :) Firstly, I learned the hard way that each scalp produces a natural amount of oil, something hair training won't halt, especially if I have fine straight hair. Washing my hair more frequently helped me get it long and healthy. Letting the hair get so oily only causes build up and clogs the hair follicles. I know you do a lot of exercise too. Keeping a clean scalp makes all the difference. Wash more frequently but use gentle products that won't strip your hair

My hair was EXACTLY like yours like to the T, but i saw a hair mask and although it seemed disgusting it’s the ONLY thing that worked for me. The hair mask consists of mayonnaise about 3 tablespoons, an egg, olive oil, coconut and oil. THE HOLYYY GRAIL

ur hair type def needs at least 3-4 wash days ! i have very similar hair and i used to wash 1-2 times a week but once i upped my wash days i noticed more hair growth. my wash days r tuesday, thursday, and sunday!!! ilyyy

Wash your hair with shampoo and conditioner 2 or 3 times a week for hygiene. • get trims as your hair needs it • apply a little bit of oil at the ends of your hair only. Putting oil in you scalp can cause hair problems like dandruff. • use oil after shower to get best results. • allow your hair to do the natural process of the natural oils call sebum. Sebum replenishes allows your hair to stay healthy and strong.
I know you don’t think you should wash your hair everyday but your hair only looks unhealthy when it’s dirty when you don’t wash your hair the oils build I understand trying to just keep it healthy versus cleanliness but personally I have washed my hair everyday and it is very healthy and grows extremely fast! 10:37
