This exciting Sunday Seaplane Spectacle captures a Cessna 180J Skywagon taking off. Following the Skywagon is a Harbour Air De Havilland Otter taking off at Victoria Harbour in Victoria BC, Canada. Be sure to stay to the end of the video, there is some special footage I took several months ago of the Skywagon dead in the water. The bonus footage includes tug boats towing a barge as the Johnson St bascule bridge goes up and down. We get up close to the Skywagon as a water taxi sails through the harbour on it's way to the iconic Empress Hotel. This is a really fun video!

But before we embark on this thrilling De Havilland seaplane adventure, I want to take a moment to acknowledge that this footage was captured on the unceded territory of the Lekwungen people of the Esquimalt and Songhees First Nations.
