Zoe! Regardless of what anyone states, handle your mission the way you visualize your truth. Black peoples in general, have always been the easiest groups to divide. In fact, it's no secret. The only way to win is to do for self. Educated like minds. Respectfully sharing observations based on the historical topics.

what u say is spot on and the reason why it dont work for them is no flava, no culture. the people that they will put on any type of show is moist. there is no feeling of realism in those shows. they are fake and wont show/tell or feel the struggle as the actual people but due to the culture/generation now, people will throw all their common sense, friendships away. this is where you will see who is loyal to who. Let the cleansing begin

It would behoove you to not only listen but apply what lessons are being passed on.."Knowledge is Power only when connected to the Network" The gems are said not to hate or disrupt your flow however, said to keep plugged in by those who've been there, done that and moving in a direction/doing it the right way. Many Blessings to those that are doing right way without a perfect script! 🙏🏿🙏🏿🙏🏿👊🏾✊🏾

This is getting out of hand, I am from the South Bronx and I was at countless "JAMS" in the park when the movement began. We had everyone participating in open mic doing what needed to be done to get the b-boy, hip-hop,rap culture going. It is sad to see and hear what is taking place now. Money is the issue, it's bigger that that so call culture vulture label. He who has the money has the influence, it's sad but true....Echo Park, Forest Hill Project, Paterson Project, Franz Sigel Park, Morris Project, Webster Project, Castle Hill Project, The Valley, Sound View Project, Michelangelo Apartment, Concourse Village, Fordham Rd, Simpson Ave, Hunts Point Ave, Bruckner Blvd, etc....

Say it brother. It is a rinse and repeat theft from ADOS culture. There is always one or two brothers that think they see a gold mine but will later find out they own nothing and will get nothing or very little because of the papers they signed which is a contract, they didn't read all of it or have the experience to understand it.

The only reason they are making this debatable is because hip hop is dead. Everyone is now trying to sell their version of it and lay claim to a piece of the pie. I would say the barber battle you speak of is also dead as an art form. Just an opinion, but the people who really care about the art such as yourself who did it for the passion eventually get run over by those who want to use it as a commodity, Good talk and analysis Zoe.

Again, this is a fiction position. Without island, black Americans would be without flavor. Without africa, American did not invent the drums. BBQ was invented by the Caribbean. Just understand that without Africians or Catibbeans, most people would not have flavor.

@@RaySmith79If you think so having flavor is subjective the art form of hip hop was created in America from black American elements of culture period we all come from an origin but created our own cultures based on where we are. That would be like saying Americans created soca, reggae, Calypso, and other music styles created by Caribbean Blacks let each place have its own style and flavors. Yes we all come from the motherland different derivatives of flavor is created by different peoples backgrounds and history..

Also, I agree wit'chu for the most part, but allow me to play devil's advocate: "u can name all Latino rappers on 1 hand." I'm a longtime subscriber (was subscribed on my old channel years ago before this 1), & I fux wit'chu n what you're doin', BUT that's quite the ignorant statement there. Here is a few to get u started on ur HH history lesson here: Prince Markie Dee, Kid Frost, Mellowman Ace, Lil Rob, Snow Tha Product, Psycho Realm. That's SIX (more than 6 actually, as PR is a group) right there, AND I haven't even began to name the 1s with the more commercial sound. There's also: Funkdoobiest, Immortal Technique, N2Deep, A Lighter Shade of Brown, The Beatnuts, NB Ridaz, Delinquent Habits, Joelle Ortiz, Chris Rivers, South Park Mexican, Cuban Link, The Terror Squad, etc. If u include half Latin? AZ, Fabolous, members of The Fugees, Chino XL, CNN (Capone-N-Noreage), Lloyd Banks, Roxane Shanté, members of Dipset (Cam, Juelz, JR Writer), Kid Cudi, Zach De La Rocha (RATM), Trina, etc. Now for the more commercial artists? Cypress Hill, Big Pun, Joe Crack, some1 by the name of Pitbull u might've heard of . . . & what's that chicks name again? That's been wildly popular in recent years? U know, the 1 that has a song/video with over a billion views? American Music Awards, Billboard Awards, ASCAP awards, BET awards, iHeartRadio awards, etc., & even a Grammy? Oh yes, that's right: Cardi B?? (NOT at all a fan of hers btw)

I’m not including the half Latino MCs I know there are technically more than 5 yes I was exaggerating a bit but I was referring to well known Latino hip hop artist that everyone knows now campare the 50 to the two thousand or more black hip hop MCs and add 50 years to that big difference numbers don’t lie.
