I think it’s absolutely fabulous that you have a connection with your neighbors. So very important. Because you’re right, there are many potential catastrophes that could result in only getting help from the people around you. And vice versa. Because you never know what they might need that you have. I think this is becoming more and more important as life progresses and as climate change is resulting and potential catastrophes. Your neighbor is so kind to put that phone call in her schedule. It may only be a one to two minute call, but it might be something that could save yours or her life. Anyway, that sunflower is spectacular. I cannot believe how good you are at this. Obviously, you’ve had a lot of experience with quilting and know so much more than just a little bit. You are incredibly talented and creative! Hugs 🤗❤️🌻

I am in north Atlanta. Very close to Athens (UGA). You do need to be prepared. I save empty bottles and fill with water and keep in garage so I can nurse in toilet, wash dishes or whatever. Don't know how far you are from me. Hope you are close. Buy non perishable foods, any first aid items, always keep everything charged unless you have a solar charger. We are all electric in very small rural town. If I have to I'll turn on fireplace and cook there or cook on outdoor grill. Don't know anyone in this subdivision. My daughters live a bit over an hour away. Would love to find someone like you nearby that we could visit, exchange ideas, and sew together for a bit. Stay safe.

Before I forget, I vote for the doily with the brown circle with or without stuffing. I also like the lace on the strip down below. It’s going to be soooo pretty. As will your Just Because throw. I just don’t know where you find all the time to do what you do. Your amazing. 🤩 I’m very glad to hear about your neighbors taking some action “ just because”. My hubby is an over buyer. ( he does the shopping) I’m always like do we really need 800 rolls of toilet paper etc... ( I may or may not be exaggerating lol) But when the pandemic hit. We were prepared. Thankfully. Our houses are kinda close, we all know each other. I watch over the older lady across from me. Tfs Take care. 🍁🍁🍁

Good to meet your neighbors, and look out for each other. Enjoyed watching. I have heard that sometimes Etsy locks owners out of their accounts, and they are unable to fill orders for up to 2 weeks.
