I’m so sorry that there was no premiere tonight! A technical problem meant that I had to upload on my mobile, which didn’t allow me to set it as a premiere. I miss chatting to you all ❤️
I'm sorry but also glad that I'm not losing my mind!!! I couldn't find the Live Chat and thought there was something wrong with my laptop. Have a great night, and thanks for the Brocante video!!! 💖
Oops forgot to sign Julia Elizabeth Kneece Gregg yes she needs all these things and yes I have been cheated out of millions of dollars and several wills now I have to plan an attack sad thing is lack of resource's I don't understand why millionaires steal from people they already have money Julia Elizabeth Kneece Gregg
Phillip is such a lovely man. He incredibly talented and observant. Cat is so so funny, i hope she never leaves. I nearly fell off my chair with laughter with her reaction to buying another tray..... then she returns the tyewriter. 😂🤣😂🤣😂
I agree with everyone--Kat is the star of the show! That brocante is the most amazing place I've ever seen. You could furnish an entire chateau with all the treasures there!
I'm in california - that said your Brocante is to die for. I love that you show us what you have done with your finds! Can we have Kat, just stay.forever? She is the the perfect flavor of humor to add to the group. She is too funny!!!
Hanni and Kat and Nati and Marie are wonderful. Kat just cracks me up always and just love love love her sense of humor. It is so relatable and contagious.
OMG - "You still havent finished the sofa from the last bloody tray!!!!!!!" The best moment. These are honestly some of my absolute favorite videos on your channel! Thank you!!!
Phillip is such an instigator for sure🤣🤣. Cat is hilarious 😂 I’d love those chinoiserie teacups Hello to Nick, Tracy and Andy❤️❤️❤️ What a beautiful transformation that coffee table and armoire
Personally. I would have preferred it in the natural wood...painting cream cheapens the whole thing and reminds me of the Italian furniture shops with all the white and meringue coloured furniture ...hideous....horses for courses...!!!!
Kat cracks me up! She was embarrassed while you were recording. LAUGHTER! I absolutely enjoyed this so much. I love the brocante store. I love seeing old things transformed into New Again. I agree, if it was something extremely vintage~ agreeing with you on that, I don't know that I would paint that, but seeing these items transformed and the beauty it brings to the room is phenomenal you guys did wonderful! Applause, applause! Take a Bow! Much love from Ohio
It’s what people are used to and that she likes to do. So anything that is out of the normal routine that others are expecting, of course she will apologise.
You people have no idea how much you've done for my sanity during this crazy year of 2020. You are lifesavers. I can not wait to get there and do some work for you. Have a great week.
That cabinet is worth several thousand to the right person. It is a stunning piece to leave behind for 100 euro. I'm in shock . Seriously, I'm practically screaming at my screen to get it !.... Just get it ! . Oh,... CAT !! What have they done .... Lol !!!
Furniture like this is so cheap to buy in France and marked up so high here in California. I can see this looking amazing in the right setting. But, to each his own. Great fun though just looking with Cat. She is hysterial ! I just love her sense of humor. Thank you so much for the adventure !
Kat you brighten my day!!! you do make us laugh, don’t know who has the best laugh you or Stephanie, very uplifting hearing you two together... love that tray Oh and that gross jug!!! Now I was on the floor Stephanie saying it looked like a disease🤣🤣🤣
I made it through this lovely video and wish it could go on and on. In the end, I’m moved that your father is so much a part of the chateau. Well really, in the end, I’m just so happy to experience a tiny fraction of the joy that exists at LaLande. Thank you. ❤️
Amazing vlog.Cat added such a ray of light to the brocante Visit.Love the artists from New Zealand we love colour diy creativity down under.Mummy’s apartment so lovely the blues blending with the art wooden beams.Just delightful Thankyou Stephanie❤️❤️
oooo Stephanie its time for an updated courtyard view for the opening! I love how you take the old and give it new life!! it is on my bucket list to someday visit your wonderful home! THANK-YOU!
I loved watching this today, but I got the giggles with that grape jar. I’m a retired Microbiologist and that grape jar reminded me of certain bacteria that look like grapes on a microscope smear. Even the colour was correct. Thanks for the giggles!🤣
cat has a lovley personality and made us laugh with her honestly put statement about the last B****y tray. that charity shop has lovley things i am jealous wish i could go shop there
I just love seeing more behing the scenes, diy, restoring, painting and upcycling kind of content! it inspires me so much ❤️ best wishes to you from Lithuania!
I love refinishing furniture pieces, it started 40 years ago with my first apartment, finding them and transforming them is so rewarding! Its so much fun to watch all of you find these treasures! All of you bring such joy into so many lives! Especially during these challenging times! Thank you Stephanie. Please don't worry about having a premiere, Im sure everyone would agree that its just lovely to see all of you. Did Mummy arrive to South Africa safe and sound ?
I hope you decide to go back and get the 100 € furniture piece. It was gorgeous and really the deal of the century. Please say you went back to retrieve it!.💘💘💘
Every time you guys goes shopping for antiques I am drooling. Excuse my word. Lol! I have been buying a lot of furniture from Marketplace for my future project for our guest room which is going to be the Toile de Jouy bedroom. I love Kat no dull moment with her she is hilarious. Love the chinoiserie coffee table. I just started collecting a chinoiserie porcelain vases for my blue christmas decor theme in our foyer. Philip as usual has a very good taste and idea when it comes of choosing item. We have few huge antique shops in our small town but I find pricey so Marketplace is my to go online shopping because you can get a lot of bargain. In fact two months ago we drove nine hours back and forth to pick up Brass Horse Console table mid century Hollywood Regency Maison Jansen table. While watching this video the ideas in my head are going wild. Thank you Steph.
I had a cabinet almost exactly like about 15 years ago when I had a big Victorian house. It’s called a court cupboard, probably made between 1860 to 1870, and it cost over $1,000 US back then. Go back and get it before someone else snags it!
Dear Stephaniee, I think your treasures look absolutely fabulous, and add a certain extra style to the room! You're all so gifted and have a strong sense of 'what will work where'! The result is stunning, eclectic, bright and uplifting! Well done to each of you. Blessings to you all from Australia. xx
I just love the way you all have such fun at the brocante! The eye-sores are just as much fun as the treasures! I fondly remember a friend and I being kicked out of a shop for laughing so hard at a grossly offensive and inappropriate laxative tin, many years ago! (We are nurses, so such things are closer to our hearts! Ha ha!) It is so nice that you all cherish the past and imagine any future re-purpose, in examining the offerings. I think Cat enjoys playing up the "Philistine" to Stephanie and Philip's "sophisticates"!! LOL! Thank you, all!
Wonderful. I love watching your series. Much hard work but lots of laughs and love. I love watching you shop at the charity shops and transform the lovely things into beauty. I’m a thriller here in America. Keep up the good work.
Cat. You're hilarious, a bit bonkers, and I adore you. And the ugly duck terrine? I would have snapped up that conversation piece :) in a flash. I was a Duckett for twenty-one years before I changed back to my maiden name. As you can imagine, ducks of all sorts and sizes hung about our house and particularly our cottage north of Toronto.. My girls divided up all the pieces...some silly, but a few beautifully crafted and unique. Quack, quack. Loved seeing the bargain furniture refinished and content in a new home. Big hugs to all. Hi Isabelle and Percy...so happy you're together again.
I just love these trips to the brocante, I would be totally hopeless... the tray and candlesticks were a good find but I was looking at the beautiful little silver teapot beside them, thinking buy it too! Philip is a good influence and also the voice of reason when needed... while Cat is a laugh a minute with a quick wit ... keep writing that novel it will be a good read! Great to hear voices from close to home... and the wardrobe and Isabelle's coffee table both looked fabulous and new skills have been learned. My sister transformed a small open sideboard that, while beautiful, was also way too orange looking, she used Annie Sloan Aubusson Blue with a touch of a darker colour in the second coat to give a shaded look, then finished with a dark wax to blend... wonderful finish, easy to achieve and gave new life to an old piece. Thank you Stephanie, we all love brocante shopping! 💗🏰🦘
Enjoyed. The furniture additions are wonderful. I love the blue of the wardrobe and Mummys coffee table is beautiful. Well done everyone. Love to all ❤
Hysterical! Kat in the shop was so funny; she has such a way with words. Phillips is a great shopper, I need him in my life 😆 . Loved the colour of the wardrobe, great choice x
What an inspirational vlog Stephanie, Mummies coffee table fits in so well with her other colours and the blue wardrobe sets Michael’s apartment up, especially when hiding the door. Truly so enjoyable viewing at 4am in the morning when I can’t sleep, thank you so much. WCL
I love shopping and recreating the pieces we find on our outings! Thank you so much for inviting me to go along. I had a wonderful time and can’t wait till next time. Love to you and all my friends at the chateau.❤️
I just recently discovered your channel. Absolutely love them! All of you are such a joy! I love your father's paintings. I love thrifting, so love watching when you go thrifting.
I’m smiling. While Stephanie was looking at the duck tureen I spotted an asparagus plate which another vlogger I follow Not Quite A Chateau bought from that same brocantes in one of their episodes. Small world.
