Taltal was a good soul he also loved Yang but he only showed it by helping her and warning her . Would love to see more of Empress Ki and Taltal by her side .

I love Tal Tal's love to Empress Ki, he is honest, sincere, devout, and really cares for her deep inside him. But he knows his limitations. His secret looks to Empress Ki showed his love. The advises and help showed she cared for Empress Ki. Empress Ki likewise trusted, respect, and cared for him as a trusted viceroy, her teacher, her trainor, her secret helper in chaotic situations, her strategist. I salute for Tal Tal's ungreedy service to Empress Ki and the Emperor up to the end.
He has show his love for Yang and did it not open because Yang decided to be Tawahns concubine and she was the best chance to get revenge on Yeoncholl and his family, so they could kill them, so he steped back to confess his love for her. So both choose their goal to kill Yeoncholl for the good of the countrys and put them on the first place (Yuan and Goryeo). She loved Taltal as her best friend and teacher too. At the time Taltal was fallen for her, she was into Wang Yoo until she heard that he get married to Yeoncholls nice (so there was nothing that could stop her to get her revenge on Yeoncholl and his family anymore). But the love of her life was Tawahn. I read somewhere that in the original script should be a romance between Yang and Taltal. They did not shoot this because of the series became to much episodes. If this is true or not, I don't know, but a lovestory between those two were nice and there are gaps because of they shoot it not. Our "Taltal" impressed me the most for his eye expressions. This actor says a lot more with his eyes than with his text in the play 😉
His heart was bleeding while watching the ceremony of the emperor n empress ki. But still he remain the same he continue to support and protect nyan and love her secretly till the end.
i love taltal! i hope he is not really dead and comes back in season 2 - like he was saved by a monk or something - he has the best chemistry with yang and he looked the best with that black cloak - oh he is so adorable!!
As shown in the series they were the main characters, as they always shown on screen, and they were both run the show because of their chemistry as planner, strategists with the goal of helping the people, Yan and other affected countries. I love Tal Tal's looks♥️

Шикарный мужчина со своими чувствами, которые он держит при себе, но делает все, чтобы помочь женщине, которую по моему мнению любит и боготворит. It is difficult to say why, but of all the male heroes of the dorama, it was Tal-Tal who fell into my Dusha. A chic man with his feelings, which he keeps to himself, but does everything to help a woman who in my opinion loves and idolizes.

Yes he did. Later on in the drama he fell for her. She completely won over his respect and admiration. That part when Nyang was whipped in the palace court, it was with a bleeding heart and Love filled eyes that Tal watched her. Even before he went off to that battle that killed him in the last episode, he almost confessed his feelings to her but being the respectful man that he was and one who looked at the bigger picture; well being of the empire, he stopped himself. He Really Really Loved her Very Much. Nyang was a very special girl to have won over Tal's heart.
i don’t know why ppl get so confused with seungnyang’s feelings. if u analyze it more u will notice seungnyang was into tahwan at first. but the betrayal happened so it stopped. then wang yu came into the picture. their love for each other happened so fast like all of a sudden they’re in love w each other. that’s also why when wang yu proposed to her she was having second thoughts, remembered ta hwan and cried. that’s why she didn’t accept the proposal at first. what she felt for wang yu was more like admiration, gratitude and infatuation. he was her hero and the king of goryeo. she looked up to him. he saved her. she did love him tho especially she was the father of her child. but u can see that her feelings for the emperor grew more strongly as time passes by. she was in denial at first and that she’s starting to feel afraid. and the moment she fell for the emperor, what she only felt for wang yu was care. and nah, she didn’t love wangyu till he died. ppl are so confused by it. she even said to ta hwan that someday he will know her feelings. and that’s also why she’s more concerned about tahwan’s feelings when he killed wang yu. that’s also why she was so afraid that he will leave her or be done with her. whenever she’s with wang yu, she’s so formal. but whenever she’s with tahwan she can be herself. she can be silly, playful, she can joke around, she smiles a lot, she laughs a lot at the final scene, it showed the scene where she chooses tahwan over wang yu then rode the horse together with him. it can be interpreted in many ways. even though the path that she will take with ta hwan is rough and painful, she will always choose ta hwan. wang yu may be her first love but ta hwan is her greatest love. .
I couldn't agree any less. What she felt for Wang gu wasn't love. She hesitated accepting his proposal but accepted in the end because it would be easier with him than with the emperor
Wang Yu was her first love, after she was freed by El Mur as slave in the palace, and before Wang Yu left they slept together and gave birth to Wang Yu's son. He left her for a longer time so when she lost her son Star and witnessed Lady Pak and friends killed she decided to go back the palace as consort thru Bayan and Tal Tal's help, there she heard Wang Yu is marrying El Mur's niece. She chooses Togon because of her ambition for vengeance for her mother and father's death, her friends, and decided to gain power and helped the emperor to read and write, to become a true emperor, with the authority to rule. She knew very well the Emperor loved and respected her so much, by that she can have him as back up to clean injustice in the palace, the people who were sacrificed on El Murs' tyranny and corruption, and wanted to help Goryeo from Yuan's discrimination to her own people, to stop sending concubines and slaves to Yuan. Being with Togon always she saw the Emperor's experience since child, his true feelings. After what they both have been through in the hunting traps, she knew Togon needs her. By then, she already fell in love to the Emperor.
I totally disagree. She loved Wang Yu more as her greatest love. That is why she would be seeking him in the afterlife again and again. No such sentiments for the Emperor.
Wang Yu and Nyang met first when he was still acting as a young jackal. Wang Yu liked Nyang even before he knew her she was a girl. He felt something for Nyang as if he already knew Nyang was not a real man. Wang Yu was Nyang's first love, and because of her ambition to take revenge for her mother and father's death, she saw the chance when she is in the palace as court lady she can do her plan to take revenge to Tahwan whom she think the reason of his father death, the murderer of her mother was also in the palace, and also to revenge the death of her friends. She thought if she can have power she can do it. With constant companion with Tahwan she knew the life of the emperor since child, until he became emperor. And decided to help him become a true emperor, with strength and power. By then he can stop the tyranny and corruption in the palace that sacrifice the people not only of Yuan but also of Gogureyo and its people. And other neighboring provinces. Her goal was to become powerful and eliminate tyrant and corrupt officials, focus to the welfare of the people and not to the clan or family. She worked on this with Tal Tal guidance and being with Tahwan's side they achieve their goal. I know she loved Wang Yu, because if she didnt loved him, she wouldnt slept with him and bore a child. But she realized that Tahwan needs her, and achieve their goal for the bigger picture, the people. She loved also Tahwan because she understand the difficullties he encountered since he was a child till he became a puppet emperor and she felt Tahwan's love for her. She also loved Tal Tal as his mentor, adviser, strategist , the only person she trusted, that until the end he sacrificed his life for Empress Ki, the Emperor, for Yuan people.
She chose to ride the horse with the emperor because she felt less for him at that time and she did not want to deal the intense feelings she had for Wang Yu.
Ep 24 full episode when tal tal was againts bayan decision to send nyang to the palace as as consort. He keeps on discouranging nyan to pursue it. And in that ep 24 when tal tal started teaching nyan. I also like the part when tal tal ask nyan to read the book about how to read men's heart😊 when nyan ask him how to govern man's heart tal tal was surprised he can't answer that's why he just said Enough reading😂 i think that's tal tal way to nyan to notice that he has fallen for her🥰 but nyan did not notice it sad.
