The current weather in the UK has been perfect over the last few weeks for testing out running sunglasses. We were contacted by premium sunglasses manufacturer, Sungod, and asked if we'd like to test out a pair of their run specific Ultras sunglasses. I've ran lots of miles using them on all types of terrain and I've even managed a couple of mountain bike rides while wearing them. I've been really impressed with the brand's use of recycled materials in their product and the performance of their high quality lenses.

Great review Loyd! Love the 80s roller disco look haha 😉. They sound like a really decent brand! Love that everything is recycled! More brands will hopefully follow in thier footsteps!

Love SunGod. I had an issue with the lenses of my renegades, I contacted customer services and followed their process, 48 hrs later DPD delivered replacement lenses for me. True premium service 👊🏻

Another excellent review Loyd. I would love these I get bad headaches if I don’t wear sunglasses when it’s even mildly sunny so I have to wear sunglasses or at least take my sunglasses with me on every run all year round so having some with lenses that react to the different light would be amazing

It’s the customisability!!! It already looks cool and comfy as it is but it just doesn’t stop there - you can even look a lot cooler without compromising your comfort and protection. You can’t help but just fall in love with the technology in this ultimate iteration of their sport sunglasses. And like you, sustainability. SunGod to the moon!

I was looking at these the other day. I bought some GOODR cheap and cheerfulls or running in bright sun but they aren't of a style that I'd wear not running. For that I have some Oakleys and RayBans. I have two other photochromic pairs. I do love the custom idea of these though because it's hard to find a combo of lenses, frames and colours that I like from off the shelf brands.

The Sungod lenses are brilliant. I've got a couple of pairs of glasses and ski goggles too. Great clarity especially with the 8k lenses. Good value compared to many of the other top end brands particularly given the warranty.

Hey Lloyd Do they have venting holes somewhere. Was tossing up a pair of the sungod Vulcans or Julbo Fury. I have Goodr and people seem to love them but they fog easily if I’m working hard, and the lens scratches easily if their soft case in your run vest.

Hey Loyd great review ...i love these sunglasses they look pretty cool ..i love the lences ...they look like my Smith Attak Max...i just bought some Oakley Sutro S Trail to use when i m gonna cycle with my new Gravel bike lol...but these sungod are now in my list if i d change my Smith ....i love the sun too lol but actually in France its 42° in my county 🥵 lol even i love running ....its impossible for me at that température lol so i m running at 5AM with 20° lol ...really love these sunglasses 🤩😍👏👏👏😉🇫🇷

SunGod are certainly a brand which appear to be establishing themselves as a leading manufacturer of sports glasses. Certainly the quality seems right up there with the very best brands which we are all familiar with and for what you are getting, the price seems competitive😎

The lifetime guarantee even against accidental damage is great and makes them worth the money. My issues is often I lose my sunglasses so I'd never spend more than £30 on a pair. 😂

I have some SunGod Ultras but SunGod messed a few things up and as a result I ended up giving them a 2 star review to put on their website. Strangely my review does not show up and neither do any under 4 stars so please beware! I contacted them a few times about it and they now say that 'it's with our technical team'... so I highly doubt it'll ever appear which seems pretty underhanded. I like the glasses but they're expensive for the perceived quality on the arms, one of my arms squeaks and isn't smooth plus the outer coating has started coming off after just a week of little use. SunGod haven't offered to replace it etc. The lenses I can't comment on as they seems fine and I don't have any expertise in that area. If I were to buy again I'd look around at other manufactures, I'd probably go custom and get ZEISS PhotoFusion lenses in a frame I like.

At 4:26 I mention that the lenses offer 100% UV protection! If you are going to be critical of a review at least take the time to watch the whole video!
