Auburn gymnast and Olympic gold-medalist Suni Lee put on a show at Alabama, capturing two perfect-10's in her Bar and Beam routines. (Patrick Greenfield | PGreenfield@AL.com)
Her technique is absolute perfection- the lines she hits 😍👌! Add on to that her natural elegance, gracefulness and ultra-flexibility...she makes it look too easy! I JUST LOVE WATCHING SUNI COMPETE SO MUCH! She has that "je ne sais quoi" it factor that can't be taught, truly a gift 🤲💖
GREAT comment! Yes indeed she is a national treasure. We folks here in St Paul's West Side (the Riverview section) and in South St Paul are very proud of her.

In music playing -- we always talk about "adagio" -- meaning, like, the ends of the notes and the beginnings are just gracefully and tactfully completed. She completes each move -- like if you keep on stopping the video, it is perfect. Like you're a professional photographer -- but no, it is is Suni's movement. Just beautiful to watch.
I can see america dominating women's gymnastics for a couple of decades.. These young women are inspiring so many young girls it's unbelievable, the crowds they are getting to watch various competitions. The bloody noise is bloody off-putting from her team mates
@@nicolethomas9 Not really, sometimes Suni gets the benefit of the doubt because of reputation. Just look at the title to this video not even mentioning Auburn or the fact that they lost the meet.
@Gracie L LOL if you don't see the difference in quality , you don't know gymnastics. Why would they mention team results when the title of the video indicates it's about Suni's individual performance?
@@graciel2313 Benefit of the doubt because of her reputation? She is the OLYMPIC CHAMPION. Literally not even one of those girls in their best day can come even close to Suni’s level during Suni’s WORST day. If those girls get a 9.00, Suni immediately deserves a 9.90 even before starting her routine. Next time when you make comparisons try not to compare cherries to watermelons pls

When Suni Lee steps into the gym, her competitors have to hope she's ill because otherwise she is going to clobber them in any way possible. She will almost certainly capture the individual all-around top slot and will also lift her team with an incredibly strong contribution. She is a young powerhouse. And cute, too! Her Hmong community has every right to be proud of her. She will be an example to young aspiring gymnasts for a long time. You go, Suni!
WAAAAR EAGLE 🐅 THIS IS DEFINITELY ONE SPIRIT THAT IS NOT AFRAID 🐯🤯!!! NATIONAL CHAMPIONSHIPS ARE WON IN MORE SPORTS THAN JUST FOOTBALL ALL OF THESE YOUNG WEMON ARE CHAMPIONS AND THEY WILL SORE JUST LIKE THAT 🦅
one reason Sunisa and other Olympic gymnast is at the university is to inspire others. All athletes retire life's greatest reward is to inspire and train future generations.
I agree. Why do the women have to wear leotards that ride up their butts? Given all the sexual transgressions/assaults by coaches and doctors in girls gymnastics, one would think we would rethink that.
And to think that double layout is hard enough for many gymnasts to use in the Olympics! The floor at the Olympics is much "springier" because it's elevated on a podium and new rather than the floor being on the ground like is seen here, so it's far harder to stick landings like this one at the Olympics. Either way, she perfectly landed it here, and the entire skill was GORGEOUS!!!
