It's attached around her neck so if she puts her arms in the air the beads will slide to the top of her shoulder like under her hair and stay there until she makes a move that "pushes" them outward so they can fall on her arms again. At 2:50 we can clearly see how it works with the angle of her body the beads on her right side are down but her left side beads are all up to her neck and at 3:07 look at her left arm with the move she does we clearly see how the beads react. And at 3:27 with that spin all the beads go outward and down both arms.
