We have an apartment in Nessebar we were caught like that at the start many years ago but we are aware of the scams ,thank you for bringing it to everyone,s attention well done
👍 what they didn’t know is that I checked the Price on the menu both outside and inside so I know I was charged double. I was overcharged in Golden Sands a number of times too with the same Line Last Years menu so I am familiar with this Scam
True Ian but if you go to Flower street in the daytime it’s only 2.9 lev a pint in the Corner Bar. Please Subscribe @ youtube.com/@travelwithcol4625 for more of my Guided Tours from Bulgaria and the Best Travel Destinations in EU

@user-hb8kq2ir1q How much is the Entry Fee? Gabanna asked me for 30 Leva entry Fee which is Expensive! And how much are the drinks inside roughly ? Corner Live Club was 8 leva for a small Local Beer, Totally Overpriced
Yes I bumped into them today 😂 stopped for a nice chat! For more of my Tours from Bulgaria then please Subscribe @ youtube.com/@travelwithcol4625 Thanks 🙏
You cannot compare the weather in SB with Spain. This year, it was generally cold everywhere. I heard and read in many sites that prices have increased a lot in Croatia as well. Guess we are all paying the price of the war. Welcome back to Bulgaria
🇬🇧🏴🫖🇧🇬🍻 I'm glad to see you're having fun in the sun on sunny beaches Bulgaria 🏖️ I have been going there for 10 years so I know the place inside out I do hope things have improved especially with the staff who serve you I know the difference between a holiday maker and a worker always remember things are not always what they look like Keep an eye on the taxis and how much they cost as long with the cost of drink in the bars especially along the sea front side streets are better for cheaper beer and find a good English breakfast always a good thing for the beginning of the day anyway chow chow for now
Thanks for the Useful Tips! Everything is brilliant here and the staff at the hotel and in the resort have done a superb job! English breakfast is overpriced in Sunny B, most places are 15 lev but some such as the Corner are 22 leva (£11) Taxis are Very Expensive here! Thank you from a recent subscriber, this was very useful. One question, if I may. You talk a lot about exchanging money. Are there any benefit to that, compared to just withdraw money from an ATM machine?
Yes because most of the ATM machines in Sunny B charge you because it is a tourist resort , for example on the promenade all ATMs there have a high charge as they are run by EuroNet , Avoid EuroNet machines
@ringperm it depends what bank you are with, my Nat West Charges me but other cards such as Starling, Revolut and Monzo do not. Maybe open an account with Starling bank or being cash with you and you get an amazing rate at the bank here but you must bring your passport or ID
@@travelwithcol4625 I use Condor restaurant near Spiders and Marinas on the beach opposite the Globus.Hotel which may now be Sheraton, however, there's rakes of good restaurants, Jupiter if still there opposite shopping used to be a great restaurant.
@@travelwithcol4625 I will message the lady who runs Spiders and ask her, I'll get back as for Sheraton, Ive only just heard its the old Globus, stayed there before it's sound.
Yes in Bulgaria you have to pay 9 Leva for SunBeds and 9 for Umbrellas. Please Subscribe to my channel @ youtube.com/@travelwithcol4625 and you will see my other Tours from Bulgaria with my Money Saving Tips and Price information
Yes it’s £3 by Bus 👍maybe check out my other Tours from Bulgaria for more of my Tips, it’s Free to Subscribe to my Channel @ youtube.com/@travelwithcol4625 Thanks for the Support
@travelwithcol4625 Great video! I see that you are quite often in my Cracow and in Bulgaria. I will be in Golden Sands (Melia Hermitage) on June 11th, and I'm a bit afraid that it might be quite empty and the weather won't be good enough. Is there anything to worry about in these cases? :D Thank you!
The Bulgarian beer is ok but obviously not on the Level of the Top beer countries like Czech, Germany etc Far better than Polish Beer anyway. You can Subscribe to my Channel for Free to see more of my Tours from Bulgaria @ youtube.com/@travelwithcol4625
Be careful not to drink the so called local draught beer in Flower Street area as it's poor beer, the only local beer I know is from Burgas, better from half litre bottle if not sure about draught, my favourite is Schunensko from Schuman, however, not many places have it, a bar called Spiders may have it and it will be no more than 2.5 Levs, not in the greatest of positions, however, it's the best value bar in Sunny Beach believe me I've been going in the pub over 20 years..
Thanks for the Tips! I’m in Burgas City right now, I posted a Tour today and I’m posting another tomorrow. I will give Spiders a go in a few days and try the Beers that you suggested, thanks for the useful Tips. Can you recommend a Barber shop that is good value? I asked at a few and they were 30 Leva (£14) which is Overpriced. Also can you recommend me which is the Best Value Supermarket in Sunny B?
Never used a barbers in Bulgaria but heard they are pricey, I'm sure in Burgas they will be cheaper than sunny beach, to be honest I only use local supermarkets which are not cheap, Janet is cheaper, there's a big one near Nesebur and you said there's a couple of Lidl. I only get snacks for hotel room and I eat out twice a day as I only ever go B&B as AI is not so good, looking forward to seeing your Burgas video 👍
The Hairdressers in Burgas also asked me for 30 Leva today. How can Locals afford that? Rip Off! The Taxi Drivers here in Burgas City try to Rob you Blind, they asked me for 20 Leva for a 3-5 minute journey today
things to do ? m y friend .. go to sea garden park- burgas and..say hello to my..iron sea bird on navys hand - i am the person who inspire the park... - te goal is to make the park the biggest family sport park in balkan..- for sure in sunny beach only beer beer and... beerrrrrrrrr
Chris in 2023 and 2024 we compared all the currency exchange rates at all the Exchanges.. Example.. Crown offered 2.16 to the £ compared to 2.25 to the £ at the Bank on Flower Street which is a huge difference… The currency Exchange Shop opposite the bus station even offers better rates than Crown and some other ones I checked .. please explain
@@travelwithcol4625 crown is bang on and always have been since ive been going, no queing up and fannying about with passports to save about 40p for every 10er you change, sunnybeachlife youtube chanel who live out there even recommend it, my own experience for the last 9 years id tell everyone to use crown

No there is no ferry from Sunny B to Istanbul anymore but you can get a ferry from Nessebar to various places.. does anyone have any info on where you can travel to by ferry ⛴️?
