Wow thats a nice pan full of gold. :) The machine and sluice used here is common in mining in Canada and Alaska. Using recirculating water like this is considered good practice and not dangerous to fish in streams etc. Sounds crazy/silly that some new laws would make this kind of mining illegal. Good luck!

Nice film and nice gold, can't wait to get there this summer! I'm a crew member of Petronellan Kolmio but our extension time will not be ready for this summer but i have talked to Ilkka Ä so maybe we see each other? I'm driving the excavator my self in my company and it will be nice to see what machines you have up there, always fun (almost😁) with machines!

Actually the guy panning says in finnish "300 grams", which proved to be quite accurate. ;-)

I don't know your laws but why aren't you guys hydraulicing you guys are mining high to a lower point that would make the most sense cost effective too
