I'm an alto man from way back, Berklee grad, and I can really appreciate the player you are! You have such a commanding tone in all registers, including above the range. And not many alto players can get that beautiful sub-tone all the way down to Bb. I can also appreciate your technical skill in all those ascending keys. You are a lesson for the rest of us in how to grab the tune by the scruff of the neck, take control, and make the tune do what you want it to do. As opposed to just trying to "play the changes". Perhaps I can approach your level with say.....25 more years of practice. Bravo!
