This screencast demonstrates how to make the Sunny Island ready for operation for self-consumption systems on the utility grid in only eight steps. Thanks to the integrated web interface, commissioning can be performed easily using a smartphone, tablet or PC. When use Island mode (Off-grid mode) and three phase, we can see Serial number of Sunny island (Slave 1 and 2) this is clear configuration. The problem is if we only see Slave 1 or slave 2 sunny island, what problem?

Hello there. How to set Nominal Voltage from 230V which is default value for SMA to 240 V country standard? For sunny island 8.0h-12.

Hello,, Hello,, I have SMA Sunny Island SI8.0h-12 but I have some problem with modbus configuration. I can't do "modbus command" to create set point power active and reactive nevertheless it is OK just for reading meter data by using modbus. Do you know how to configure modbus communication? Do you have experience with set point Power active using Modbus ?

Is it possible to configure the SI -11 in the same manner

The configuration via the Web User Interface is only possible for Sunny Island with built-in WLAN capability. To configure the Sunny Island -11 series you will require a Sunny Remote Control. ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-lveK84Rutxc.html

Are you considering a firmware upgrade or other work around? This functionality will enhance the ability of current users to easily configure the current older generation of units.

Unfortunately the issue cannot be solved by firmware alone as there are physical hardware differences between the Sunny Island -11 & -12 series.

But the -11 series can go online with various combination of additional interfaces... I could not work out what I needed. This would be so useful to me. Remote logging and settings changes.
