The question that should be asked is WTF are the police doing at a local Parent Teacher Student Association meeting. What have they got to hide, and have they never heard of the first amendment?
It's the non-answers and cavalier attitudes of the school board that makes parents angry and call out these attitudes. The school board can't give good answers to the number of questions parents have, which include A CITY COMMISSIONER. Can't wait for the audit and investigations and lawsuits coming up.
Like many others the “resisting arrest” should result in charges against the officers. In short, they should be at least a class A misdemeanor and marked with a history of lying. Also, they should likely be charged with false arrest or kidnapping in the first place.
They will be dropped because the DA and prosecutors office doesn’t have time for these cases. At most she will take a plea of distruption and pay a small fee of maybe $100. At most!
Anything to hide their dirty laundry - but the cat is out of the bag: it'll only be a matter of time before the PTA will be facing their judgement. PTA believe they can control any rhetoric and cover up any financial misconduct.
Resisting without violence is the most corrupt charge out there. Simply questioning the legality of your arrest is considered resisting without violence. Its human nature to do that yet they want to make it illegal.
@@leef_me8112 OK so where in the text of the law does it say one can resist with only words? What's the caselaw on that, because last I checked, the courts said that the first amendment allows for significant verbal criticism directed towards law enforcement. The fighting worss doctrine doesn't even apply. So what do you have to counter that?
Guilty behavior by trying to silence calls for transparency. Shine the light and get a good look at the corruption on the board. No good deed goes unpunished.
You can tell they got desperate trying to keep it quiet. It definitely screams guilty when people are arrested for no reason. It's concerning that they have such power in the first place. This doesn't look good for how they will handle future issues they've caused going forward.
Sooooo 50 people sitting there and the cops just randomly come grab her and haul her out? C'mon, where's the rest of the story? Let's see the video of the moments before she was taken out
Sounds abt right....this is how im seeing things...im getting stalked n harassed talked w one miami beach police abt it he said "we do not have that type of things going on here" yes i most definitly am...😮 its pretty bad
I would also like to see footage before the arrest, too. The more evidence, the better. It does look like a desperate attempt at a power move on their part, though. Intimidation and fear make people comply. All it takes is one person to get arrested for the others to stay quiet. They have kids, so they weren't going to risk spending the night in jail over missing money.
School boards have too much power over citizens. There job is properly taking care of the school NOT having people arrested who disagree with them. SUE THEM.
This is a public meeting and under both the state and federal constitutions she has the right to voice her concerns without fear of retaliation, I hope she sues not only the school board but the police as well.
And if the courts do find her not guilty or the charges are dropped, she needs to file federal charges against the officers of deprivation of rights in a color of law, unlawful arrest, unlawful incarceration, weapons charges for breaking the law Walton possession of firearms and federal charges of deprivation of rights on the color of law against anyone else who participated in her removal.
@@CarterKey6 .. the reporter Rosh is not drunk, he's always like that. He's always laidback and relaxed when doing a story. I take it you're not from the Miami area.
IO just wish police officers actually knew there job so when a board member "orderes" them to arrest people they tell them NO there is a good video of this somewhere. I cant seem to find it though. Cop is asked to escort people out of a meeting and he says why and the board memebers say because i want it and the cop just says NO. actually knows the law and his job perfectly
Police have no right to be there to intervene unless it turns physical. Country has forgotten 1st amend rights...Everyone gets so butt hurt when they don't hear what they want to hear or people don't agree with them. Sue the PD and the board.
Grade School kids were present!?!?! I bet this interaction will confuse them as it contradicts what they are taught in the classroom about the Bill of Rights, specifically petitioning the government for a redress of grievances.
What gets me is more parents needed to stand up in front of those police and stop them, they cannot remove a parent just for standing up against the dictator school board and if enough parents would stand against the tyranny of p[olice removing a single parent for speaking up the police would have to stop their false imprisonment.
LOL. Desantis won't be bothered. Misappropriation of funds is standard practice in Florida. I've tried to get him to look into Cape Coral's corruption and his office from Tallahassee told me they are an autonomous governance and the state cannot help. The Attorney General said the same thing.
If parents would do just a little research. They would learn this about school unions. Right after 9/11. Many school unions made a windfall from what occurred on 9/11. But nobody in the TV networks will look into this?
Resisting as a secondary offense. Which is legal if the original arrest is unlawful. Which in this case it clearly is, I hope she sues a crap out of them.
People getting caught tend to utilize everything in their power to stop the source of inconvenience. Even if it means lying, making false accusations and asking friends in security or in the executive sector to do a favor.
Schools have gotten to the point is that they don't want the public tax payers of that district , know the who , the what and how their money is being utilized . They are in fact just hoping that nobody notices their little discretions of improper public money usage . The minute we the public is questioning it all of a sudden because of the schools policy ( mind you know policy of a school voids all rights over any state and federal constitutional law) their for hire police are there at the meeting to violate the publics inquiry .
Miami Dade school board police a bunch of useless individuals with no knowledge of laws. She will beat this easily especially if the arrests forms were authored by school board Officers. Weird that a county officer is patting her down. She should sue the department.
Police had no business at a parent teacher meeting, the board is corrupt, she should sue the police for wrongful arrest and have the board investigated
I saw the all video and such a chame the SIB police officers scored out one of the parent and an commissioner they were violent and they were expressing theirs concerns and the PTA representative doesn’t know how to handle it this situation and in front of so many kids what a chame for the PTA and SIB police officers
I want these individual officers to be behind bars. Dont care you want to keep a job and feed your family, if you can’t respect the constitution no matter what your superior says then you should not be a police officer
