1997 - First year college, fresh out of school... when we were still young, wild and free!!! I found both the actors so good looking, especially Tara. She had such thick, long, straight hair unlike her contemporaries. 💗 P.S. I didn't look for this song, YT suggested this to me and I am amazed, it is targeting the right lot.
I was in class eight when this song first released. And it became an instant favourite for a boy in his early teens. Just started having romantic feelings towards a girl in my coaching centre, but couldn't express my feelings then. Later came to know that she also felt the same for me. But, till then it was too late. She was married early as her passed away. Now after 25 years after so many long years of struggle to become a successful doctor, suddenly this song appeared while surfing through RU-vid in a rainy evening. And brings a very strange feeling that can't be expressed. Hope she is doing well in her life with her family.
this is very very similar to "Tomaye Cheye Aar na pawa" a bengali song by Swapan Chakraborty ad sung by Bhupinder Singh (singer of the song Dil Dhoondhta hai ). That version is a much slower one than this. You can search for that song in the youtube. Both the songs are awesome. As a bilingual guy, I feel blessed to eb able to listen to and understand both these songs. My wife had listened only to this hindi version. but I sing the bengali one to her very often. She loves it.
Purana samay bhi kya gajab tha, aab sirf sapna hi reh gaya hai. Uss samay ki Ashiqui ki barabari aaja ke fB WhatsApp aur Insta wali youth kabhi nahi kar payenge
One of my favourite childhood songs, the guitar was so beautiful, it always brought a smile on my face..❤❤ back in 1989 I have heard this one first as Bengali version in movie called Toofan, in that movie music director was Sapan Chakraborty, Pancham da's right hand man as a music arranger. He has also used this song in a very soothing way with little sorrows adding in lyrics, legendary singer Bhupinder Singh was superb as voice...I later find out the tune is copied from "you needed me" by anne murray..I have heard that..but still both Bengali and Hindi versions are always my favourites..#lovedeshis..link for the Bengali version, ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-DdTSH-knhpc.htmlsi=L6E7wffJT2FIeRB5
