Modern Catamaran, first Cat with Volvo IPS 800. 55 T , 10 knt = 46l/h ! 23 knt = 220l/h. Probably the most economic Motoryacht in this class on the market! YachtView360. iBlinders, electronic blinders.
Pure elegance, I can almost feel myself in a pacific atoll, drinking a small brandy thinking nothing can beat it, but knowing tomorrow will prove me wrong. Mating Volvo's IPS system with that hull has made that vessel a market leader for world cruising for man or woman with a head full of dreams.
Maybe you didn't notice but this is a private channel and I'm not a yacht salesman. The interior decoration is private, by the way you can find excellent photos of the whole interior decoration on the website of the manufacturer even before I took over the ship.
@@wernerv What is the reason for the tunnel wake? Catamarans don't normally have tunnel wakes. Are there hydrofoils in there? I like the way it handles around the docks. So you own this yacht now?
Ok ok . I got that it goes fast and has every electronic gadget known to man !! Did the idea of showing more of the cat itself not enter into your thinking ? Interior ?? Nice cat ( I think) but a poorly done vid>

Ships sure are a weird bunch when it comes to efficiency, A 30 year old small ( 80meters ) cargo ship with 30 times the light ship displacement of this boat has only double the fuel consumption rate at same speed. And this is considered to be a very efficient motor yacht.
+Manintoga -- Yep; it all has to do with wave-making properties: the longer the waterline, the faster it can go with the same power. Shorter waterline length means the hull is trapped between the bow and stern waves at lower speeds unless it is overpowered enough to climb out (semi-displacement or planning).
I've never seen bow bulbs on this class of yacht. I like waterjet drives for quick times to plane and deceleration. I would not use any propulsion system I had to cut holes in the bottom of my boat to install.
