First time I've ever seen anyone pray (on YT) for their food, while out in the woods. You just went to the top of my watch list. God Bless! Love your videos!
@ 15:55 My favorite part of your video . :) I'M a total dog lover , I have a 3.5 yrs old , long haired jack russell , rescue named Ba Loo (see my profile pic) , he's definitely my life companion . I live in Northern Québéc , Canada and across the street is a big park that resembles a mini forest . Ba Loo gets me out there every morning , some mornings I don't feel like it but have to ,for him . Once we're out there and I see him running around , jumping in the snow being silly , I can't help but laugh and smile at him . And that's just one of the times I remember how lucky I am to have Ba Loo and grateful he got me out there . :) 🐾
I was so pleased to hear you pray to our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ! Luke 9:26 For whoever is ashamed of Me and my words, of him the Son of Man will be ashamed when He comes in His own glory, and in His Father's, and of the holy angels. (NKJV) I love your videos and noticed that you don't use any coarse language, which I really appreciate. I love Maizy; and the music is nice, too. God bless you and your family!
One of my favorite campfire breakfast is an old Navy dish called One-Eyed Jack. Aka egg in a basket, egg in a hole, gashouse egg, bird's nest, bull's-eye egg, and many other names. Press the top of a drinking glass into the center of a piece of bread. Remove the center circle. Heat the pan, toss in some butter. Put the bread "frame" into the pan and crack an egg into the center. Salt & pepper to taste. Also fry the center circle, that's your toast. -- You can use this same "egg in a frame" idea using a bell pepper ring or large onion ring instead of bread.
Love your little pan... nothing better than a meal cooked over the fire. I love your series of cooking over the fire videos. :) Thank you for sharing! Yes, "don't overthink it!!"
Way to go. You were given a beautiful day and thanked him for the day and food. Thank you for putting that in your video. And thanks for all your inspiring videos.
Now that's what I call a good start to the morning, fresh air,a open fire pit some coffee, food and nice view and of course having a good collie by your side ,just plain awesome ty for sharing this👍💙🐶😊...
That was inspirational ! I haven't had a camp fire in 2 years, if I recover from the flu I am going to head out to the lake! thanks for the video and for praying 🙂 subscribed
oh man,,, Sitting here with my headphones , listening to the fire crackle .... Music to my ears .... This weekend i'm heading to the woods !!!! Thanks for the post Brook ,, Cheers
Going back in time ....watching your old videos, we are really looking forward to your new cooking channel. You are our Sister in Christ, God bless you!
Being able to stand on a frozen lake , must feel really cool! With the morning sun glistening across the icy snow, with Michigan backwoods ,(which are gorgeous to even look at ,) as a backdrop is , I must use the word to describe it, enchanting! P.s. Like seeing Da Woof frolicking about , it gives me cheer. Cool beans.
Love this video. The music the characters and the setting went together so good. Your dog is so well mannered. That looked like the most perfect French toast I've ever seen.
And that's a beautiful dog! They are such great companions..mine was a pure white Samoyed male named Cody..my fishing buddy my adventure buddy and he absolutely loved Snow and winter❤
But, yes, I get your mindset...just to get outdoors and get to enjoying nature is such a high!! You seem to truly Experience this Everytime I watch you!!
Brooke, the great energy I get from watching your videos is just great. You and Dave are two of my favourite YT'ers and you've helped rekindle my love for the great outdoors.
"Why Mini Adventures Matter" I really needed to hear this. For the past almost year and a half I've been tied to West Michigan. My elderly dad who lives next door is on home dialysis and I'm the only one trained to assist him with it.
A great start to and day in my opinion. You can tell a lot about a person that feeds their dog before they eat. You and Dave are good people and I so enjoy both channels. Thanks for sharing
You are so right brooke, if people did little short hops to the woods i think they would tend to get out more. You are inspiring me to make more effort in that direction. And as usual, great attitude ! Love it.
Where can I get a pair of boots like this? They seem to tolerate snow, wet conditions, and still look clean and dry. I’ve never heard you say your feet are cold, either. Thank you. Absolutely love your channel. I am inspired!
❤️❤️thé vidéo. Scared sounds in the woods - yup. My daughter and I tried to do a camp out in the backyard a few summers ago. I quit not even 1/2 through the night b/c of the coyotes. I was in a protect my kid mode - no sleep until we were safe inside. Lol. So much for us being tuff.
Amazing video, and such an enticing breakfast that I made French Toast this morning. You are an inspirational woman! As a Canadian, of French heritage, the pronunciation of the name of the bread is "bri-awsh" - just drop the "chi" and you will fit right in to the northern woods of Ontario or Quebec. eh! :)
I like you skillet. I collect cast iron and have two skillets like yours that I use every morning to fix bacon and eggs. Keep up the good work you're inspiring people.
Love that u say blessing and begin eating nice that breakfast looks yummy. Lucky Mazie she gets a outing and good food that's that life for u all. ✝️🤗🌺
Beautiful morning, beautiful scenery, beautiful lady, and a faithful dog Macy. It don't get any better than that. You love the simple pleasures in life like I do. You make my day watching you when I can't get out. thanks
Thanks for the great video. Was glad to see you give thanks before enjoying your Breakfast. You are a inspiration to everyone to get outdoors and get happy!
Beautiful morning adventure! Great video. I must say that my favorite part of the whole video is that you gave thanks to Our Father in Heaven in The King Jesus Christ! ! That meant so much to me .Thank you for another great time.
Brooke, wow!! You just gave me a great Revelation!! I over think these outdoor adventures!! I spend too much time planning it rather than doing it. Ron and I were supposed to go camping this weekend, but we both didn't feel that we were ready. What's the big deal? Just get out there and do it! I am done over thinking camping, and pretty much life overall!! Thank you, Brooke!! 😁
great video I sware for a second there I could smell that cooking I love the sound the ice makes too its like a huge musical instrument I like to take my sling shot and shoot ball bearings as high up in the air as I can and listen to them when they hit the ice great fun see you on the next one
Mornings are my favorite time of the day, so peaceful and magical... love it!! I do my morning walks through a marsh and I have never heard so much ice noise as this year. A lot of temperature swings, which has caused the thawing and freezing. Really neat to listen to. Thanks for bringing us along!
