Lucky you to be in cooler temps! Tropical heavy rains in Lakeland. Pretty shots of sunrise. Son in law’s family lives in SF. Geese and Nice to see the mountains in background and various bigger jets. Even United had some big ones.

I love when those 777's blast out of 1R. Such a great sound! And that dual 737 landing was beautiful. That Air India flight is a 16-hour journey. I'm sure those folks were ready to get off the plane!
Good morning Captain glad you made it to SFO. I am ready to fly too TPA tomorrow (tuesday ) i will be departing CMH on a Southwest Boeing 737-700 but will be returning home from TPA on. Boeing 737Max on September 10th
According to my source, you're only in the Pacific time through autumn, then back to Mountain time. Except for the Navajo Nation, which does observe the time changes.
Always enjoyed flying into SFO. Usually flying a B-757 or B-767. A beautiful sight flying into SFO day or night. I can't imagine flying into SFO from Australia and then touring downtown these days. I think there will be a lot of disappointment.
Captain- I made a bet with my brother that this mystery trip was SFO. When I go back to XNA on 9/17 (Delta to ATL 757-200 and a Mini Mad Dog to XNA) I will collect my glass of wine!

The 28's are definitely longer than the 1's. 28L is 11,300 ft, 28R is 11,800 ft. 1L is just 7,600 ft, and 1R is 8650 ft, which would explain the quicker United rotations.
