Hi. I have oily acne prone skin. I applied minimalist sunscreen SPF 50, for continuously 4 days, but it makes my skin look darker. Can you tell any remedy ?

@@_SuRyA_. Acne uv gel....works very well for my oily acne prone skin....it has powdery dry consistency...so it absorbs all the oil on my face ...my skin is loving it

The worst I have used till now is suncote Sunscreen that I ordered after watching this video. It is not light-weight, leaves white cast and makes skin very oily
It truly is one of the most horrible sunscreens. I remember how it made my skin look incredibly dull and dark after application too. Absolute waste of money.
For person having open pores ,dull dehydrated acne prone skin ( normal to dry skin type ) . 2) which cream / serum would you recommend for 20 years old having open pores . 3) After how many months one can see visible reduction in open pores ????? 4) suggest good sunscreen for person having acne prone skin with open pores and dull dehydrated skin.( Skin type normal to dry) . Keeping hydrated and using sunscreen twice daily works for me. The riceberry sunscreen from liittllextra is the one I prefer right now, as it suits those with oily or combination skin perfectly. It feels unlike typical sunscreens, absorbs really quickly into the skin and provides a matte effect. It’s likely the only sunscreen that hasn’t felt greasy on my skin. Absolutely loved it!

Yet I used one of these products cuz I had acne prone skin and my skin used to be oily whic are prescribed by my doctor.Had these myths of changing products might affect my skin badly. Ma’am what is the difference between acne uv gel 30 and 50? In your acne prone skin recco you have told to use the 30 one ; can we use the 50 spf one or no? Please reply ma’am
Heya! So according to my research spf 15 provides 93% protection from UV rays, spf 30 provides 97% protection and spf 50 provides 98% . There's not much of a difference in spf 30 or spf 50 except for the 1% of course but it's always better to be on the safer side and go for the spf 50. It's not like spf 30 is better, spf 50 is better but there isn't much of a difference. If it is saving you a few bucks go for the spf 30. Hope it helps :)
I wonder if you checked the ingredients list also on these sunscreens. In many reels/videos you say to avoid fragrance etc and still suggesting products having numerous icky ingredients

I have some questions & request .. hope you will make videos on this. 1) Many people always say chemical sunscreen is bad for skin if you use long period. Even some studies of have proven it cause cancer because of some harmful ingredients… it’s true ? 2) Some people says not every chemical is bad for your skin so will you recommend any chemical base sunscreen with safe ingredients. Coconut oil is highly comodogenic and causes clogged pores. It doesn’t suit your skin type and you might want to stop using coconut oil and switch to a different oil.
Use a product with salicylic acid to get rid of clogged pores and tiny bumps. I use the salicylic acid mask stick and it’s my holy grail for congested clogged skin and it even erases blackheads

Try minimalist's 3% tranexamic acid serum.. It worked for many and its believed to be superior to alpha arbutin. Just be patient cause patience is the key. You would start to see significant results after the one month mark. Dont forget to do a patch test before using and use sunscreen positively. My acne spots got diminished by 90%.
Dr Aanchal I have used your 4-5 recommended sunscreens . For my super oily skin, Out of those Sunstop 19 is the best but spf is very low. Acne uv.. I have used 3 tubes but it is still sticky for me. Makes my hair fringes also very oily. La shield and wishcare sunscreens were recommended for oily skin but were super oily for me. All above made my skin dark also. Pls suggest an upgrade for sunstop 19 . It has a low spf .

Yes you can i use it , it works , make sure you blend it well .... But next time buy radiance+ dewy sunscreen becz it has watery texture and better suited for oily acne prone skin like ours
