SunSetter Motorized Awning Model 

You simply couldn't watch TV in the late 2000s without seeing these ads.

We bought an 18' model 1100 and really enjoy it. The motor lasted about 8 years and the fabric about 12. We removed the motor and it is really easy to manually open and close without fighting against the gears. I am now replacing the fabric. I feel SUNSETTER is way overpriced. We paid double for not shopping around.

I remember back when you had to do it manually. Now they have a remote okayyy I see you.

The remote on this system is HORRIBLE. I cannot reset the remote. I called Customer service and they did not return the call. I tried numerous youtube videos and am still only using the manual crank. I am glad that it works manually. I wish they would stand by their $2,000 plus system.
