"Sunt Eu" is a Romanian phrase meaning "it's me", a phrase about existing. This video was created in 2020 in an office-space-turned-film-studio over a couple of days. It was initially designed to coincide with the 2020 March for Life in Cluj-Napoca but Covid prevented that from happening. It was finally released in 2022.
Clujul Pentru Viață (Cluj for Life) is a pro-life support organisation in Cluj-Napoca, Romania. Young women with unexpected pregnancy face a lot of pressure in Romania to abort in favour of their careers, studies or societal norms. Many are made to feel that they are unable to care for a child, despite desperately wanting to do so. Organisations like Clujul Pentru Viață to support, guide and encourage them on their road to parenthood.
