That isn't exactly stop micro, "stop micro" is something else different that i will try to cover in a future video, in this video it's just "stop".

ASF micro is more of an art than a science. For me, it is good if your asf are going slow when the fight starts. This allows them to turn faster than if they are going fast. Think about a race car. A slow race car can make a tighter turn than a fast race car. However, you don't want your asf to be grounded when the fight starts. that would be horrific. I think it is possible to hover asf like you can hover strat bombers. I have seen this done is special circumstances. If you can do this, your asf are firing 100% of the time and can aim in any direction.

Yeah i know how to micro asfs and how it works, i just don't feel like teaching it , so im just teaching it the easy way.

@@InternetAlias there are some ASF micro videos if you research them, although they might be outdated, and they mostly teach the basics of air micro they don't really tell you how to master it, it's something that comes with a lot of practice.

As I see, stop order allow to choose best target for every asf for first shot. With others they do over damage for nearest enemy and ignore others while it is alive

@@danielk.5320 As the guy below said it's about turn rate, which is also why micro-d air fights are always in such a small area as the objective after getting a good engagement angle is to keep the speed down and the turn rate up. Stopping the ASFs as they engage gives them a better opening turn over the other two commands which overshoot and have to come round all the while being shot by the stopped ASFs. This is also why Attack Move and Patrol are so evenly matched.
