You are confusing in thermal and overall efficiency, sometimes u said overall efficiency is greater and sometimes thermal.. See the video... U will get ur mistake what actually do...
Indeed, Harshad I have seen it there's a slight change. The correct explanation is that the overall efficiency is less compared to thermal efficiency. You may kindly note that overall efficiency is 29% to be precise whereas thermal efficiency of modern power station is about 30%.I,e 1% drop in the alternator. Thank you Rahul, See to be precise thermal efficiency is in the range of 28%-30% and is 1% greater than overall efficiency because there is 1% loss in the alternator. The option contained 28% that's why it is somewhat confusing but you remember that thermal efficiency is greater than overall efficiency. I hope this is clear to you.
