Agreed mate, it’s not impossible to fail BUT it’s a lot easier to succeed with this than any other strategy I’ve tried recently!

My best advice with boxes is to either approach it like I did in the first attack or if there is lots of value available in the core, you don’t have poison towers by the townhall and you have a backup plan to sui the townhall, you can just blimp straight down the middle. If the blimp doesn’t get near the townhall, you can still get immense value and should still then leave you very little of the base to finish off

I have a similar blimp content to yours except rather than using a swb, I use regular wb. The reason for this is twofold. 1) it allows me to decide whether I invis early to keep the wb alive to open a wall 2) it allows me to cover more ground before the archers leave the blimp I find that this is the optimal content for a super archer blimp and so will leave you with far less scope for failure due to ground traps

It’s because of the filler troops in the blimp. You need to wait for them to disperse/die before cloning. You can sometimes clone a little sooner if they die quickly but it’s better safe than sorry. If you clone immediately, you’ll just end up with a lot of cloned wallbreakers rather than the archers multiplying. The only time you can get away with not using fillers is if you’re dropping that blimp away from scatter shots, there is no chance of there being ground traps in the area and if you’re incredibly quick to drop your first invis. Not practical for legends but could sometimes be feasible in war

You need to drop the blimp usually within 3-5 tiles of the townhall. If there is a defending king/heavy cc troop like a hound in the area, try to make that invisible with your archers so your archers don’t waste time on them. If your blimp doesn’t land close enough to the townhall, you can also stagger your clone spells so your cloned archers appear closer to the townhall. My best advice is to just keep practising and watching RU-vid videos. It will become easier 😊

That’s an interesting tweak! The loss of an ice hound does take away some flexibility but gives you a little more support for your heroes

I wouldn’t say the first attack was close, I just didn’t finish with any loons left which isn’t such a problem so long as the defenses are gone. The second attack, yeah that was kinda close but that was more down to me dropping the blimp maybe a tile too short. Don’t get me wrong, I won’t claim that this attack is a guaranteed triple every time BUT if you practise it, master the blimp and have a small amount of LaLo skill, you’ll tend to see pretty strong results. It is still viable in upper Legends league, although the bases are a little tougher to break down. This army was actually used frequently in the top 100 last season… although the people using it were no doubt a lot better than me 😅 I will be focussing on more attack strategies though mate. Super bowler smash and hybrid are 2 that I’m looking at

placement of blimp OR you arent utilizing the trash troops in your blimp. By this I mean you arent running 4 wallbreakers/5 barbs/3 super archers in the cc. If you are then launch up a friendly challenge and go in with your blimp and drop it without invis. Take note to how long it takes for the supers to come out of the blimp. I did not realize this back in the day and found myself dropping invis too early and missing out on an extra second or 2 of super arch life which makes a huge difference fs

Lama makes some really good points. I’d also suggest that it may benefit you to also look at sometimes staggering the clone placement towards the townhall if the blimp didn’t get as far as you’d like. You can also feel free to drop the freeze of course. It just means you won’t have the luxury of being able to blimp into a sweeper/freeze a poison tower

Thanks for the replies, upon some investigation and test I think I found out what went wrong in the first place: with the extra inv, I got the habit of casting the spells in the following order: inv (4s) inv+clone+clone (4s) inv + rage (4s) inv loop; as I wanted to make sure all archers were spawned to benefit from the rage effect; but with one less inv, I need to send the rage right after the clones; doing this seems to work a lot better so far. My lalo still has very unstable results, especially when the scatter are spread in the corners far from the th, or if the base has 3 multi inferno.. i mostly 2s the bases; and got few 3s when things went well :-) the sad part is: when I feel I understood the technique this is where end up with just 2s results… I guess I need more practice and try to figure what I’m doing wrong :)

@@kandjar no probs Cedric! You’re definitely right about the spell deployment order so I’m really happy you figured that out! As for spread defenses, that can be tough and is probably the only weakness that this attack has. It will usually require a very well executed blimp/hero sui to triple but keep practising and I’m sure you’ll get it!

Yeah practise will help. It’s all about figuring out what value you can realistically get with your heroes on that wrap around approach. They can take a beating but overestimate it and you may struggle

@@BigVale indeed. I have gotten 4 - 3’s over the past day and a half but it can be really hit or miss. It’s usually at least a 75% or higher two star. By the way, you make some of the best tutorial videos out there.

Pretty much when the pathing looks workable. In summary, you need to do the super Archer blimp, then you need to start the hero sui to target remaining key defenses (splash defenses and air targeting heroes). So long as the sui is done/nearly done doing it’s job, you can start the LaLo. Basically you want to make life as easy as possible for the LaLo before deploying it

Standard lavas are good too but the ice hounds can make a pretty big difference. Not only do you get that huge freeze effect when they pop but they also have a very useful slow down effect on anything that the hound/pups target. That has saved me more times than I can remember this past week of trying this strategy

Yep definitely improvement on standard lava just lost an ice golem and one loon worth the compromise
