SUPER BALLON D'OR 2029 - TOP 15 FAVORITE RANKINGS
There are 6 nominees that battle for this great award. All of nominees are the winner that have more than one ballon d'or, like Di Stefano (2 times), Backenbauer (2 times), Karl Heinz Rummenigge (2 times), Michel Platini #(3 times) Kevin Keegan (2 times) and Johan Cruiyff (3 times). Based on that facts, Dunia Zen tried to list the rankings of Super Ballon d'Or with category edition ballon d'or from 1990 to 2023 (Untill 2029).
The Super Ballon d’Or is a special award by France Football magazine. The award was created in 1989 to honor players with a history of excellence over the last three decades.
Only one Super Ballon d’Or has been given out, and it went to Alfredo Di Stefano in 1989. He was a legendary footballer who played for Real Madrid and won the Ballon d’Or twice in 1957 and 1959. To decide the winner, three groups voted:
Football experts from France Football.
Former Ballon d’Or winners.
Readers of France Football magazine.
Three-time Ballon d’Or winners Johan Cruyff and Michel Platini finished second and third respectively in the poll.
Now, following the conclusion of the 2023 Ballon d’Or, there is speculation that France Football may award the Super Ballon d’Or for a second time in 2029. In light of this, we have listed the 15 frontrunners to win the prize. These footballers are all Ballon d’Or winners in their own right and played between 1990 and 2029.
