The fact that Kelce somehow found Tony G. on the sidelines in that moment is amazing. Many Chiefs players deserved so much more than what they got during those dark years and Tony was one of those guys. Such a cool moment man.
I'll be honest. That was the moment that brought me to tears Thinking about how hard Tony G worked all those years and never got it. And here we are finally. That and Damian Williams running down mostert to give him love after the game 2 incredible moments ill remember the rest of my life!!!.
@@donstrong5763 Know he said and did some stuff to turn fans against him but that man gave the best 12 years of his professional life to the Chiefs and was truly the only bright spot at times. He instilled some pride in KC when there wasn't much to go around and that's how I choose to remember him and its why that moment was so special to me. To each his own though.
“Holy s*** dude we just came back and won that f***ing game” -Pat Literally every chiefs fan was thinking that at that moment. Utter disbelief....love my chiefs man!
H istorianHero_X 😂😂 quit crying and suck it up y’all just lost the game. It’s a whole month later, and you still crying THe ReFs wON tHat GaME fOR ThEM 🥴.... CHIEFS ARE SUPERBOWL WINNERS!!!
I really appreciated Sammy's contributions this year (both on the field and in the locker room). He's changed since he arrived. I feel as though he's found a home at last ... and is finally comfortable in his own skin and with his team. Good to see.
The refs dug the Chiefs out with a very controversial PI in the endzone that gave the Chiefs 7 instead of 3 to make it 20-17. That call changed the game and of course NFL Films chose to omit it from their crappy recap.
Patty Knoll I think the main reason Mahomes played tight in this game, as opposed to how he usually plays, is because he felt the weight of Reid's legacy riding on this win. And you can see in this vid just how much he loves and respects his coach.
Thats that East Texan in him. I have a buddy that moved here from New York and he said it took him forever to get used to kids calling him sir. But now it bugs him when he goes back and nobody does it.
50 year wait. Lots of pain and disappointment. Delaney, Okoye, DeBerg, Allen, Montana, Podolak, Holmes, Thomas, Smith, Gonzalez and the rest that tried their best along with Marty and many other great coaches to this finally. I sat in front of the tv at 14 near Vinland Kansas and watched my team win after a tough season with a final against a heavily favored Vikings team. I thought there were be more with that team. 50 years later it finally happened. Thanks you Chief's.
I had assumed that Ed Podolak was on the Chiefs team that won Super Bowl IV . I checked, and that was his rookie year. He rode the bench the entire season, but he did get a ring.
Chiefs fan. Hell of a game and mad respect for the 49ers. Wouldn't surprise me at all to see Round 2 this time next year. And Kittle is nuts. He's got a life in broadcasting once his NFL career ends.
charles allan Lol. SF was up 10 with 10 minutes left but youre caught up on an opi from the first half. Blame the refs, not your inept qb play and shoddy playcalling down the stretch. Hahaha CHIEFSSSSSSS
I'm a Chiefs fan since birth, but I have to admit that Kittle kinda cracks me up...seems like a fun personality and trash talks similar to Phil Rivers...would love to see them talk smack to each other
Patrick Mahomes is the epitome of a champion, when he was struggling, he reached down, and led the boys to greatness that is now documented in NFL history, definition of Hall of Famer.
My entire life (and i'm almost 50) I've watched these documentary films they've made about Super Bowls over and over and always dreamed I'd see one about the Chiefs but honestly never thought I would. It's been almost two weeks since the game and It's still surreal. I'm enjoying every second because you never know if you'll get to experience this again
Yea Mahomes is a rare breed. With all that talent he still is respectful to his peers. No matter how he plays the rest of his career I hope he stays in KC. I'm glad Len Dawson got to see them win another one. That's awesome!!
Grayson Gilbert -- BINGO !! It was totally RETARDED for any of the 49er players, coaches, and fans to be celebrating like they were with 11 minutes and 57 seconds left in the game & only a 10-point lead against a KC Chiefs team that was notorious for wiping out double-digit leads in the post-season, as the Chiefs had done this in 3 consecutive post-season games going back to the AFCCG in 2018. The 49ers got exactly what they deserved -- a 21-0 beatdown the rest of the game -- for being stupid enough to celebrate WAY too soon & thinking that they had the game won with over 10 minutes left to play.
Luc W 1. hold on emanual sanders 2. holding on bosa 3rd and 15 3. helmet to helmet 3. off-sides 4. selecting controversial refs prior season to now host the super bowl!! the goons at the nfl rigged the game!! ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-PzP7NC8AuQA.html
As a Giants Fan I love Patrick Mahomes, I wish him plenty more Super Bowls, and he is without a doubt a future Hall of Famer. I read somewhere a week before the Super Bowl, Patrick and his girlfriend were having Pizza in a restaurant. Nobody bothered him or his girlfriend. When he left he turned around saying thank you for letting us have a peaceful meal, and supposedly he paid for everybody's meal. Mahomes really is a nice guy. He is one of those players that I will root for even if he's not in a Giants jersey.
That’s not a fake story it did happen, but if I saw him out with his friends and family I would wait until they were getting up to leave and ask him when is the next time you will plan to see fans and sign autographs for them so that I could get to that event and get my autograph from him then.
This is very true, he turned at the doorway before he walked out and said, this is why I love Kansas City because you let us eat in peace, wished everyone a great day, and paid for all their meals, I live here, and it was all over the local news.
Massive chiefs fan, I love all my boys and I’m so happy we won... But god do I love Kittle, the guy is the biggest dweeb on the field AND an amazing player
I "discovered" the kid when SF started winning last season, and drew my attention. He just pops off the screen. Quick, strong, catches, blocks and I don't see a drop of selfishness or meanness in his heart. Plays with joy on every snap, too. Just an amazing talent.
Believing in yourself is the most powerful attitude you can have in life. The NFL gives us that personified every single year. It's just a game, but it's so much more. I love the players and all the fans. We all know that attitude can win championships.
A Mack Classic the only fans I don’t like are the ones who shame their City their Team and themselves!!! And I know that you know what I am talking about!! They are the 1% that gives us true fans a bad name!!!
Andy Reid’s a great coach, but this video also showed his encouragement and positivity towards Mahomes. He threw 2 picks on consecutive drives but Reid told him to “keep firing” and “keep your head up” after both of them. It’s some of the stuff you don’t give credit for as a coach
Every time I watch this, even 2 years later, I cry. I love the Chiefs so much. I've watched the Chiefs my whole life. This win was and still is so sweet!
@@Kushiwawah both of those teams ain't going nowhere next year! ,my superbowl pick is Patriots (with tom brady),cheifs of cos and from nfc i got Seattle or 49ers and then saints(only with brees)
If every team coached like Andy Reid every team would be insane he doesn’t care if Patrick throes 2 INTs he will still let Patrick throw the ball 50 yards down the field. I never seen a coach have so much trust in their QB
Each year they get closer to putting a REAL team in Europe and I think it's overdue. They treated their first attempt like a farm league & that was doomed from the start. It screamed American arrogance. This time the team's will be members of the league with a new division of their own. I'm routing for it. It's a very expensive game to field, but Europe has 500million people and could easily support 8 team divided into 2 divisions, one for each conference. Then this new play-off format with one extra team per conference and only one bye team per conference will make sense. Which makes me suspect this might be coming.
Have watched every SB the first ( I was 6). Was pretty ambivilant about who won...but.. By the 3th quarter became a KC Chief man. This may have been the best one ever...because Thank god the Pats (or the Cowgirls) were not involved.
I don't think you have to thank god for the cowgirls for not being in the SB. You can thank Stacy in accounting because she didn't have anything to do with it either.
Ambivalent about who won, then jumped on the Chiefs bandwagon, only glad because the teams you hate aren't in it. What the hell kinda football fan are you? Sounds to me like you a no-team-having, anti-popularity, hater.
@@muddobber6863 skip bayless may wish to discuss that with you. personally I would like to see another 9 for the chiefs give big red 10 rings. #ChiefsKingdom #MahomesGOAT
I've waited 30 years for this moment! I know Coach Stram is up in heaven and smiling on Coach Reid amazing playcalling in this Super Bowl! How can you not like any of the guys on the Chiefs team?! All year they were flying under the radar because everyone else was a Super Bowl FAVORITE!! Kelce, The Honeybadger, Frank The Shark Clark, T-Sizzle and of course MyHomeboy Mahomes and all of them are my favorite players!! Still pinching myself to this day! #ChiefsKingdom we should be SO PROUD!! 💯❤😎🔥
Love the relationship between player and coach with Mahomes and Reid. Love Mahomes never-say-die attitude and love Kittle's heart. These are two young teams. They will meet again.
this was the best super bowl I can remember ever seeing .INCREDIBLE! MAhomes brought the NFL back! Class, talent. toughness, KINDNESS Take the example from Him NFL ......................Do it right this Time NFL!!! Patrick Mahomes has brought LIFE back into this game
If you’re a true Niner fan, you’ll stop pointing fingers and just appreciate the best season we’ve had in almost 6 years. We have SO MUCH to look forward to and an abundance of talented guys who will be hungrier then ever next season.
We did it. No one deserves this more than Kansas City. It’s been a hell of a year, the heartbreak we’ve endured for 50 years has been mentally and physically debilitating to the culture of Chiefs Kingdom. Through the adversity, this team showed fight. No matter what obstacle was in front of them, it didn’t seem to big. This is the changing of tides, the changing of the mentality within the Kingdom of not only losing when it mattered most but, to now win when it seems impossible. This is our Chiefs, everything that has happened in the past began to build to what now is the foundation for the future. We the Kingdom are in good hands. Now begins a legacy of not only Championships but, the legacy of Kansas City. The love, the bond, the strength and the resiliency of Kansas City is what makes the Chiefs. This is what it’s like to be a Champion. Through thick and thin, we overcame. This was a team of destiny and now WE wear the crown.
I’ll never get tired of the different mic’d up videos of this game. Can’t wait for the America’s Game doc to drop of the 2019/2020 super bowl chiefs. It’s gonna be so dope.
I dunno why can't get enough of the SB LIV. Everytime you feed me, I watched. I was touched at the very end and made me cry... again. 😢Tears of joy for my Chiefs and the Kingdom. Wish this whole team still intact for the next season...but seems impossible. Someone has to leave and it hurts.
It’s so cool that no matter how big and bad these guys are that you can still tell they’re kids at heart (in a good way). Ex: Bosa’s heart pounding, Kittles excitement, Mahomes in general
That D. Williams run at the end to ice the game reminded me Lo Cain's bases loaded hit extra innings of G5 of the 2015 World Series. We had the lead in both instances but that extra score solidified the championship. A mixture of relief and exhilaration.
Any other Chiefs’ fans get chills at 18:00? Kelce goin ape knowing they won the game. What a moment. I gotta say, these NFL films are amazing. Hollywood quality stuff. If you haven’t already, watch the 40 minute “Mic’d Up” video of Super Bowl LIV. I’ve watched it 3 times already. Fantastic! #ChiefsKingdom
Eagles Fan here. Man, what a football game that was. So happy for Patrick Mahomes, so happy for Travis Kelce (Jason's brother 💪) and of course so happy for coach Reid. He got his truly deserved championship. What a team. What a championship run. That's greatness right there!
Can you imagine Mahomes in 5 years? Once Brady retires this is his league. Not a Chiefs fan but this player and coach have not reached their peak. I enjoy watching greatness and history and there is much more in their future.
