Although he needs lessons, getting in the right forgiving clubface and shafts that deal with his aggressive swing is important. He probably needs a grip change as well.
Hi guys! So assuming someone’s irons are too long for them, the impact location tends to be where? The shot direction tends to be where? Also, as far as static measuring, do you still do wrist to floor or knuckles to floor? What length would generally constitute going down a 1/4 inch? I know static is not as important as the actual delivery, but as a general guide. Thank you!!
There are a lot of variables that come in to play in addition to length. Utilizing wrist to floor measuring can be a helpful guideline but is not that black and white. The best way to know would would fit best is to do a fitting to analyze and take a look at all the variables.
Arms close together the whole swing and don't spin out your shoulders. I struggled with this for years. Would be awesome if every customer was this chill.
Could do with standing slightly further away from the ball. Give him more room to swing through from inside and less inclined to stand up too early to make room
