Joe Burrow is going to have e north of 5000 passing yards and north of 45 td PASSES this year. He will win MVP and Super Bowl MVP this year too. Jamar Chase is going to win offensive player of the year.
I think the Bengals are built to win in late December and January. But they have to find a way to start the season off better. During the past 3 seasons they started the season 0-2,and it cost them playoff seeding down the stretch. If this Bengals team can start the season off hot and rip off some wins early it will put them in good shape late in the season. Joe Burrow and the Bengals are hard to beat in Cincinnati,so if they can lock up home field advantage throughout the playoffs this team is going to be very hard to beat.
You're one of the few people on here I see that you're not a Bengals fan but always give love to this team thank you from a lifelong member of who dey nation
We are very lucky that we got Myles Murphy at number 28. He was 21 last year and appeared to still have some baby fat on him. Not anymore. He looks chiseled from stone now. He is 6’5’’ 270 and runs a 4.51. Need I say more. And Ossai is a specimen too at 6’4’’ 260 and has 34 inch arms a 41.5’’ vertical and an 11 foot broad jump. ELITE explosion numbers. And he runs 4.62 so great speed and elite agility and elite explosion.
Players to watch this year. 1. Myles Murphy 2. Joseph Ossai 3. LG Cordell Volson. You May Day to yourself how do you watch out for a guard. When offensive linemen are playing well you hardly ever hear their name. That’s how you will know that Volson has continued his upward trajectory. You will never hear his name mentioned. The first 2 are Edge rushers. Murphy is going to be even better than last year and he was good when he played last year and Joseph Ossai is primed to have a huge break out year. He is going to have a Bryce Huff kind of year. Like 10 sacks. I’m predicting 8-10 for Ossai and 8-10 for Murphy. Also the rookie DTs I think they will make a significant impact in year 1. Jenkins and Jackson. Also players to watch will be 1. Andrei Iosivas 2. Chase Brown. 3. Germaine Burton. Burton is a 1st round talent that they got in the 3rd round. Watch his Alabama tape and you will see what I’m talking about. He played at Alabama and he made it look effortless. He is facing future NFL CBs every week. And at practice every day. He ran 4.45 but looks far faster on film. Iosivas is going to be our future WR3. The Princeton kid. He is hungry. So is RB Chase Brown. They wanted explosion from the RB position they got it. That kid is explosion personified. Also Charlie Jones is a dam good WE himself but I think thing his largest impact will be as a return Specialist. Specifically punt returns. His 3rd punt resturn in the NFL was an 82 yard TD run! I think he will have 1 more punt return td this year and 1 kick return td. And if they don’t use him on kickoffs the. He will have 2 punt return TDS. Punt returns are harder than kickoffs.
@@jakeharshman2565 def not decades, only last 2 years have we truly believed in the talent of the team to do it. We on top of our p’s & q’s now a days 😎
Look Burrow in 2021 played 21 games. Never missed a snap. In 2022 he played 20 games and never missed a snap. He had 2 freak injuries. And have you seen him throwing at OTA’s on the last 3 weeks? He is throwing the ball just fine. The only difference is he is throwing the ball harder. He has more velocity on the ball. Burrow is also near 230 lbs this year. He played at 215 last year. He not only looks fine he looks better than he has ever looked throwing the ball.
It’s funny how all of you wannabe RU-vidrs talk about, oh, Joe Burrow has to stay healthy. But I never hear you saying; oh, Lamar Jackson has to stay healthy. Joe Burrow is not injury prone!! Stop it!
I love your videos I've been keeping up since covid when everyone clowned you on your dolphins prediction video and usually I agree with you on your takes but this one I think is a little harsh. I think if you're a Bengals fan you wanna see this team back in the playoffs after what happened last season and win a playoff game or two. I don't think super bowl or bust should be the expectation. Imo that should be for 2026 if this team is back to normal this year
In the last 12 years only 1 team has won the Super Bowl that was paying their RB more than 5 million a year. It was the Seahawks that year they won it were paying Marshon Lynch 6.4 mil a year. The other 11 teams were ALL paying their RB under 5 mil a year. Guess what the Bengals are paying theor RB this year? 4 million dollars. The 49ers are now paying their RB 19 million a year 😂 lol. The Bengals are going to route the 49ers in the Super Bowl in New Orleans next year.
We need a quick start our second half schedule is brutal 3 games in 10 days also eagles drafted 2 of the top corners in the draft hurts is a running an who we have trouble with Lamar and now Just in fields and Russell Wilson what would it be lime too have the bucs division 8 wins first place they have a very easy division 9 wins prior home field advantage playoffs our division we have to at least at a minimum split our division to have a chance toughest division in football
As a Bengals fan in Ohio, I'm highly considering going to that Bengals vs. Eagles game in Week 8. We were robbed and one play away from that match-up being the Super Bowl 2 seasons ago. It's going to be ELECTRIC!
Honestly, the Bengals and their coaching staff didnt even know what they had in Jake Browning. No lie!! Even me as a Bengals fan didnt know what he had in Browning. Browning never got a chance and kept getting a PS spot and occasion was the 3rd QB when the Bengals decided to carry on all 3 QBs..but once Brandon Allen left, they brought in Siemien to replace Allen and didnt even give Browning a shot at the backup spot. And yes both Browning and Siemien look like trash in the preseason and gave no one hope. Especially when Burrow had the calf injury. Which was dumb, but an injured Joe Burrow was still better than 2 100% backup QB which was stupid and led Burrow to play the start of last season while he wasn't even healthy. Bengals Coaching staff shouldve stepped in and say Browning is gonna start and Burrow takes the time he needs to heal from his calf injury, yet they let Burrow go out there and be pass happy for an immobile QB like Burrow (due to his calf). Once they did get it rolling, it was essentially over for a lot of teams. Outside of the collapsed and terrible coaching vs the Texans; Bengals were really on a roll & then the TNF game which Burrow suffered his wrist injury. Even then, Browning had his shot and he looked so out of it the 1st game he started replacing Burrow and Bengals shouldve won that game vs the Steelers but QB play was bad & Offense looked like crap. After that, Browning hit his stride, but the team was still missing something. Yes Browning isn't Burrow. There s drop off between Burrow and Browning. Browning had his moments but there were times Browning showed why hes a backup QB. Don't get me wrong, Browning proved a lot but he was still missing the clutch genes to actually make a good play into a great play. Bengals offseason was subpar imo All these lateral movement in FA for no reason you signed Nick Scott over Taylor Rapp (only yo bench him because dude was unplayable) so you cut Nick Scott which was a fken given the way how he played then go out in FA to sign Geno Stone from the Ravens (a lateral movement & couldve had Justin Simmons instead) went back and re-sign Vonn Bell (understandable because Bengals FO choked up the SAF signings) Now they are moving Daxton Hill from SAF to Outside CB & saying he didnt develop enough for them at the SAF Spot ( but Bengals FO doesnt take any accountability for not finding Daxton hill a quality running mate across from him, Scott was unreliable & unplayable, then you have Jordan Battle a rookie to pick up the system and all the checks with Daxton Hill, essentially you have 2 Rookies at SAF and now you're calling Daxton Hill out because of your incompetency to find a quality SAF opposite of him) Went on to sign Sheldon Rankins (3T DT) which you already have a log jam at with BJ Hill, Zach Carter & losing Reader at NT spot hurts because the Bengals never did replace him or find someone to fill the void (outside of drafting Kris Jenkins Jr. & McKinnley Jackson) Then you have the Contract situation of Tee Higgins (whos been Franchised Tag) while the WR market just keeps on going up. Same old shit they did with Jessie Bates; played hardball and let the market drive JB3 outta their price. Bengals doing the same shit for a 3rd Round Comp Pick. Bengals should have given Tee Higgins 4 years $110M 50M GTD 25M at signing Frontload the contract so Tee get his money now & when Chase is up for his, they can pick up his 5th year option and then extend him like Joey B so that give you essentially 2-3 years to prep for his contract. Then extend Joey B to that huge extension. This Bengals defense isnt the same as the 2021-2022 & the 2022-2023 team. Also Bengals Coaching Staff and FO doesn't have the luxury to extend their core players such as JB3, Tee Higgins, Reader etc is because they haven't been able to find the formula and the right coaching for their draft picks. Their inability to develop their draft picks have hurt their ablity to extend their best players and core players. Whiffed on OL and had to go out in FA to overpay for veterans Inability to develop DL which is costing them a lot to keep paying their Vet DL players (Hendrickson, Hubbard, Hill) don't get me wrong, if the Bengals could just hit on some of their picks at their position of need, they get to move that money around and extend their core players while they can have rookie deals at position of needs
The Bengals have a guy that can take Boyd’s reps In the slot. Mike Giesiki. He is classified as a TE but he is a very big slot WR. Or outside WR. The fact is that Geisiki is 6’6’’ 247 lbs had 34 inch arms and runs 4.54. Tyler Boyd is 6’2’’ 203 lbs and ran 4.58. Even Tee Higgins is 6’4’’ 220 lbs runs a 4.59. So Gesicki is far bigger and faster than those other 2 guys. Charlie Jones played primarily on the outside at Purdue but can play the slot. Jamar Chase will be taking more slot snaps this year. It’s not like only certain people can play in the slot. It’s not a different position group. Like Boyd’s first 4 years with the Bengals he didn’t play in the slot he was an outside receiver exclusively his first 3 years. Any WR or TE or even RB can play in the slot and catch passss. One of the Bengals RBs Chris Evans is a terrific slot receiver. I do not know why they haven’t unlocked his potential yet.
Jordan Battle will be the starting SS in 2025. This year he will play in 3 safety sets and will go in and out at various times. He played phenomenally last year. The only reason Bell is back on the team is 1. The Panthers owed him another year of guaranteed money. 2. We got him for league minimum 3. He is going to train these guys up on communication and just show them how it’s done there. Jordan Battle did not play bad. At all. He was the 4th highest graded SS in the league. He was the higest graddd rookie safety in the NFL since Derwin James in 2018. Nick Scott was attrocious. We went bad back there last year because of Dax Hill. Dax had never played FS In his like before last year. Dax played Nickel CB at Michigan and he was elite there. He is good in man to man situations. He will be the teams starting nickel CB in 2025 when Mike Hilton is gone. He will play some this year too. To give Hilton a break and to guard TEs in our dime package. I expect Tycen Anderson to take over at FS in 2 years when Geno Stone is gone. Anderson is a beast. He is 6’2’’ 210 lbs and runs 4.36!!
Last season Cam Taylor Britt was playing at a Pro Bowl level. He got hurt around game 13 I think so he needs to stay on the field more but he is very good. Very fast very strong and fearless. DJ Turner is speed personified. The only WR in the NFL that faster than he is is that guy who was just drafted by the Chiefs Xavior Worthy. I didn’t like him very much. Worthy that is he is too small. 6’165 lbs? That’s tiny. DJ Turner is on the smaller side too at 6’ 185 but 165 is far too little. I think Turner could get up to 190 and be fine. As a pure man to man cover CB DJ Turner is really good. At Michigan they would put him on the opposing teams too WR.
Erik All and Tanner McGlocklin are both coming off of injury. Erick All would have gone in round 2 if not. McGlocklin used to be a WR. And don’t forget about Tanner Hudson. He is a former QB and they tend to make good TEs for some reason. Travis Kelce was a QB at first too.
lol dude the reason Brian Callahan is valuing the run more than the Bengals is because Brian doesn’t have a Joe Burrow in Tennessee. AND because the Titans not have the BEST Offensive Line coach In the NFL. Bill Callahn has been coaching the Browns offensive line for the past 7-8 years. So the Browns won’t be as good as a result of this. Callahan has to have a good pair of running backs because their QB is not as accurate as Burrow and not as refined as Burrow. And the Bengals Runnjng game is going to be better this year without Mixon. It would have been good with Mixon but we didn’t need Mixon anymore. We are going to gut the Titans when we play them.
That statement that Trent Brown has only been good with the Patriots is not true. Browns best year was 2018 and 2019 BEFORE he ever played for the Patriots. In fact his only Pro Bowl appearance was in 2019 before he played for the Patriots. I have heard that so many times and I decided to check on it. The statement is not correct. Brown was good with the Patriots but he was good before too. Mims will be starting before the year is over because Trent rarely plays for an entire year. Orlando Brown Jr is the opposite. He has never missed a game before. Ever.
One thing you didn't mention is using Ja'mar in the slot and Burton outside. I think you'll see that 5-10 snaps a game. Seems like it would be tough to stop. Great breakdown by the way. Love your content
Yea Dax Hill is the future nickel cb. DJ Turner was a rookie last year. For half of his games he looked like a rookie. For the other half he looked a lot better. He and CTB are the outside CBs.
Dax Hill played FS for the first time last year. He had 110 tackles, 1.5 sacks, 12 pass breakups, and 2 interceptions. Pretty good for a guy who had never played FS. The Bengals should have put Hill at SS and Battle at FS. Battle can play either one well.
@NathanDean79- This @JakeHarshman dude would love to have a debate with you. Take the energy you put into these never ending posts and let this dude know.
Tanner McGlocklin broke all of Rob Gronkowskis records at the university of Arizona. Now does that mean he will be better than Gronk? No of course not. But what it does mean is that McGlocklin was better at Arizona than Gronk was. That’s all it means.
Heh. This ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-5JO1PsupF_U.html proves Fields was a way better QB than Caleb was _in college._ But it doesn't prove this didn't transfer to the NFL. I find that most NFL fans however _want to believe_ that it's One Thing like "Fields is a bust." I dunno. They had two surges where the offense was better using different plays & both times the Bears abandoned them. In '22 they led the league in offense 3 weeks straight & lost those 3 games. This was blamed on Fields. In '23 the same plays got them 5 of their 7 wins & they were One Play Away from sweeping the supposedly superior Lions. I can't figure out how or why the majority of fans _& even analysts_ seem to forget play-calling & its effects every other second.
This isn’t Trey Hendricksons last year. They have him under contract for 2 more years. Last offseason he signed a 1 year extension. So right now he is under contract thru 2025. So 24 and 25 he will be here. They may extend him for another year which would give him 3 more year. Yea just because a player wants more money or more time or wants to be traded that doesn’t mean it’s going to happen. Maybe on some teams that’s how it is. But the Bengals honor contracts. And they expect players to honor them too. He signed it he has to fulfill it period end of story. I think they should add like 3 million a year to his deal. But we are going to overpay like the 49ers are doing with Bosa. 34 mil is far too much for Bosa. Myles Garrett is the only player worth anywhere near that. In my opinion.
@@darylhoskins5696 yes he is. The AFC North has 3 of the leagues top 5 pass rushers in it. Watt or Garrett would be 1 and 2 whichever order you want and Hendrickson would be number 4 or 5.
Curious to see if Josh Newton is the guy they are trying to replace Mike Hilton with. If Dax Hill doesn’t work outside they need to keep him in the box. He could be a pro bowl SS and idk how they haven’t realized it yet.
@lukefrierson5078 doesn't make my statement any less true isn't lamar 4-1vs burrow🤔 forgive me being skeptical but they haven't done it in almost 6 decades😂 I'll believe it when I see it.
